POSITION TITLE: Summer 2026 Intern - Sales Strategy and Operations
POSSIBLE LOCATION: NYC office
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
This Sales Strategy and Operations team provides high-impact strategic support for an SVP of Commercial Sales across the Manufacturing, Retail, and Consumer Goods industries. Working directly alongside a Senior Analyst and Senior Manager, the intern will contribute to the analytical framework that drives the organization’s most critical business decisions.
TEAM DESCRIPTION:
The Sales Strategy team is the driving force behind operational, strategic, and tactical execution for the business. We are trusted strategic advisors that partner with our Sales Leaders to execute strategic initiatives, build business cases, and drive revenue growth. Our team deploys a mix of strategy, operations, and analytics to deliver exceptional service to our business partners with focus on fostering growth, enhancing productivity, and driving profitability. We sit at the intersection of the most pressing issues for the business and serve as “strategic coaches” to our Sales Leaders. We support the Sales teams in setting the right goals and ensuring they have the tools to achieve them. The pace and environment feel more like a start-up than a big corporation. WHAT YOU’LL DO:
You will help drive the continued success of our Sales Leaders by supporting our growth strategy, making data-driven decisions to support the business, and building strong cross-functional partnerships.
QUALIFICATIONS:
You are a current Junior (rising Senior), graduating May 2027, pursuing a Bachelor's degree; Business, Economics or STEM backgrounds are a plus but not required
You are a self-starter and have a bias towards ownership and action (i.e., going beyond the task at hand)
You are solutions-oriented and passionate about solving problems using data
You have strong interpersonal skills and will enjoy working collaboratively with other teams
Strong Excel/Google Sheets modeling skills
PowerPoint / Google slide presentation building skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, rapid change environment
Ability to succeed in a collaborative, start-up paced environment
Complex and creative problem-solving ability
A team player, with a willingness to go above and beyond to deliver excellence
Intellectually curious, detail-oriented, and driven to make an impact on the business
NICE-TO-HAVE, BUT NOT ESSENTIAL:
Previous internship experience a plus
SQL experience a plus
Experience with data visualization (e.g., Tableau) a plus
