The Role
Join the Employee Success (ES) Global Operations, Strategy and Operations team at Salesforce. We are dedicated to making HR operations more efficient, effective, and future-ready. We are seeking an intern to lead a critical project around Staffing & Capacity Modeling. You will help us determine the future of our workforce as AI and virtual agents take on high-volume tasks. This role is perfect for a graduate student who thrives at the intersection of Human Resources and Organizational Design.
What You'll Lead
- Capacity Modeling: Conduct sophisticated modeling exercises to predict staffing needs as virtual agents begin to handle and assist with employee cases.
- Data Visualization: Translate complex "rough exercise" outcomes into clear, visual data models that tell a story.
- Executive Socialization: Prepare and present your findings and recommended "headcount" numbers to ES leadership teams.
- Strategic Change Management: Sit in on the project’s change management and enablement tracks to understand how your data impacts real-world transitions for our global employees.
- Innovation: Stay at the forefront of how AI tools assist in maximizing content and service output.
Requirements
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program, graduating in May 2027. Preferred fields: Human Resources, Organizational Design or MBA.
- Quantitative Skills: Proven ability to conduct modeling exercises, manipulate large data sets, and derive logical conclusions from data.
- Communication: Ability to socialize technical data with non-technical stakeholders and leadership.
- Systems Knowledge: G Suite (Google Sheet and Slides)
- Strategic Mindset: Understanding of global HR practices and how organizational structures evolve with technology.
