As a Sales Leader, you will play a key role leading a team of highly visible and motivated Sales Executives in our expanding UKI Aerospace & Defense sales team. This group generates revenue and achieves individual, team, and organizational quotas within one of the most innovative and strategic sectors in the British economy. Ideal candidates should possess solid B2B sales experience and prior Enterprise Sales management experience.

Your Impact

  • Team Development: Lead a growing and diverse team seen as Trusted Advisors to major A&D Primes, Tier 1 suppliers, and MoD-adjacent organizations.
  • Strategic Growth: Develop the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy to increase our relevance and fuel the expansion of our presence across the A&D ecosystem, from commercial aviation to national security.
  • Deal Leadership: Support Account Executives by participating in and leading client meetings, navigating complex procurement cycles, and engaging corporate resources.
  • Performance Management: Manage a high-performance team, including recruiting, training, and coaching on the nuances of the defense industry.
  • Ecosystem Collaboration: Build strong team unity and collaboration across the Salesforce ecosystem to deliver integrated, mission-ready solutions.
  • Operational Excellence: Lead weekly forecast meetings and drive pipeline generation initiatives that align with the sector's unique fiscal and budgetary cycles.
  • C-Suite & Stakeholder Engagement: Engage at the C-level and with senior program stakeholders in customer organizations to position Salesforce as a platform for operational advantage.
  • Mentorship: Coach Account Executives on strategies to manage multi-year sales cycles and navigate complex regulatory requirements (such as data sovereignty and security).
  • Inclusive Leadership: Act as an enabler of an inclusive, winning team spirit that thrives on solving high-stakes challenges.

Required Skills

  • Leadership: Consistent track record in building and managing high-performing sales teams.
  • Industry Context: Previous experience in solution sales (SaaS/Cloud) with an understanding of the Aerospace, Defense, Space or Manufacturing sectors preferred.
  • Complex Sales: Experience leading teams selling transformational technology solutions to major Enterprise, Government, or Commercial customers.
  • Matrix Navigation: Ability to operate successfully in a matrix/multi-product sales environment.
  • Relational Intelligence: Excellent interpersonal skills; able to inspire and build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and external industry partners.
  • Agility: A self-starter who can excel in a fast-paced environment while respecting the rigorous standards of the A&D industry.
  • Communication: Fluency in English is required.
