What you'll be doing...

As a Named Account Executive – Financial Services, you will own a strategic portfolio of named accounts within the financial services industry — including Banking, Insurance, Wealth Management, or Capital Markets. You'll be responsible for driving complex, high-value deals and building long-term relationships with C-level executives, positioning Salesforce as a mission-critical platform for digital transformation.

  • Own and grow a defined set of named accounts, developing deep account plans and multi-year expansion strategies.
  • Drive net new revenue and expand existing footprint across your portfolio, consistently meeting and exceeding quota.
  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from discovery through negotiation and close — engaging at the C-suite level (CIO, CDO, CFO, CMO).
  • Develop a deep understanding of the financial services landscape — regulatory environment, industry trends, competitive dynamics — to position Salesforce solutions with credibility and relevance.
  • Collaborate strategically with Solution Engineers, Industry Advisors, Customer Success, Professional Services, and Executive sponsors to deliver transformative outcomes for customers.
  • Build and maintain a robust, accurate pipeline — forecasting with discipline and precision.
  • Establish trusted, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and champions within your accounts.
  • Partner with internal teams (Industry Marketing, Product Management, Alliances) to develop tailored go-to-market strategies for your accounts.
  • Serve as a Salesforce ambassador within the Financial Services ecosystem — attending industry events, engaging with partners, and building your personal brand.

Who you are...

  • 7+ years of experience as an Account Executive, with a strong track record in enterprise or strategic sales.
  • Deep knowledge of the Financial Services industry — ideally with experience selling into Banking, Insurance, Wealth Management, or Capital Markets.
  • Proven history of closing large, complex deals ($500K+ ACV) with long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
  • Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals in a competitive enterprise environment.
  • Ability to navigate highly matrixed organizations — both internally and within your accounts.
  • Strong executive presence: comfortable engaging and influencing at the C-level.
  • Experience with solution-based or consultative selling methodologies (MEDDIC, Challenger, etc.).
  • Strong pipeline management discipline and analytical mindset.
  • Proven ability to build lasting, referenceable customer relationships.
