Description
Salesforce is seeking a high-impact Marketing Performance Manager to serve as a strategic "Digital Architect" for the Slack growth engine. This role is designed for a performance-driven strategist with a "consulting mindset" who can navigate the complexities of a large-scale SaaS environment while pioneering the transition into the next generation of search. You will act as the primary liaison between technical data signals and executive-level strategy, ensuring Slack remains the "definitive answer" for both human users on social media and AI agents in generative search results.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic GEO/AEO Consulting: Advise on strategy for Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), ensuring Slack content is citable and authoritative in LLM results (ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.).
Organic Social Insights: Develop and recommend high-engagement strategies on platforms like LinkedIn to build brand authority and capture high-intent demand.
Integrated Performance Advertising Optimization: Optimize and support complex paid social and digital advertising campaigns, prioritizing pipeline quality (MQL/SQL) and CAC over surface-level clicks.
Cross-Functional Consulting: Collaborate with Product Marketing and Engineering to ensure SEO/AEO requirements are built into the site architecture and product roadmap.
Required Experience:
Technical Mastery: 7+ years of experience in performance marketing with at least 3+ years in B2B SaaS or performance consulting.
Modern Search Expertise: Proven track record of supporting SEO/AEO programs that drive measurable pipeline growth.
Analytical Fluency: Ability to interpret complex multi-touch attribution data and translate it into clear, executive-ready narratives for the C-suite.
