As an Applied AI Strategy & Research intern in the Office of the CEO, you will work at the intersection of artificial intelligence, automation, and customer engagement—with a focus on Agentforce. Collaborating closely with AI research, Agentforce, and product teams, you will have significant exposure to Salesforce leadership as you explore how AI-driven agents, automation, and intelligent workflows enhance customer experiences and enterprise solutions.
This internship is designed for high-achieving undergraduates passionate about AI, research, and business transformation. You will gain hands-on experience in AI research, customer insights, and strategic initiatives, contributing directly to the future of AI-powered customer engagement at Salesforce.
Summer 2026 Internship Start Dates:
- Group 1: May 18 - August 7
- Group 2: June 1 - August 21
- Group 3: June 15 - September 4
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market, applied AI research, and competitive analysis on Agentforce and AI-driven customer engagement solutions.
- Collaborate with Agentforce teams to build and explore AI agents, automation, and enterprise AI applications.
- Analyze customer interactions with AI to improve Agentforce’s ability to enhance customer experiences and operational efficiency.
- Translate customer insights into product recommendations for the CEO’s office and executive leadership.
- Develop briefing reports and presentations on AI strategy, customer impact, and product feedback.
- Support cross-functional collaboration between AI research, Agentforce, and product strategy teams.
- Attend and summarize key discussions with executives, AI researchers, and industry leaders to provide actionable insights.

Who You Are:
- Current Sophomore / Rising Junior: You have an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028 pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or a related field.
- Passionate about AI, technology, and business strategy.
- Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to synthesize complex AI concepts into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Some exposure to AI/ML concepts, coding (Python, TensorFlow, etc.), or technical coursework is a plus but not required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in research, strategy, or business analysis (internships, coursework, or personal projects).
- Interest in AI ethics, sustainability, and the broader implications of AI on society.
