Description

We are looking for a Senior Solution Engineer (m/f/d) to strategically support our customers in Germany through digital transformation. The role combines technical consulting, business consulting, and pre-sales expertise with a clear growth and hunting mindset.

The Solution Engineer acts as a Trusted Advisor for new and existing customers, helping organizations strategically leverage modern CRM platforms, data architectures, and AI-based applications — particularly Agentic AI.

The focus is on customers from the following sectors:

  • Technology (Software & Hardware)

  • Professional Services (e.g., Facility Management, Staffing Services, Auditing)

Industry experience is helpful but not mandatory. What matters most is the ability to understand complex business processes and drive technology-led transformation.

Areas of Responsibility

Strategic Customer Advisory

  • Advising existing customers and new logos on modern CRM architectures

  • Developing end-to-end solution strategies based on CRM, data platforms, and AI

  • Positioning Agentic AI as the next evolutionary step for customer engagement and automation

Pre-Sales & Solution Engineering

  • Conducting Discovery Workshops, Value Engineering Sessions, and Architecture Discussions

  • Developing compelling solution designs and architecture concepts

  • Presenting complex solutions to C-level executives, business units, and IT

Growth with Existing Customers

  • Identifying expansion opportunities

  • Supporting the account team with cross- and upsell initiatives

  • Building long-term trusted advisor relationships

Innovation & Thought Leadership

  • Translating new technologies such as AI, Data Platforms, and Agentic AI into concrete business applications

  • Close collaboration with Product, Partners, and Customer Success

  • Co-creating innovative customer engagement strategies

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience

  • Several years of experience as a Solution Engineer, Pre-Sales Consultant, Solution Architect, or Technical Consultant

  • Ideally experience at a CRM, SaaS, or cloud software company

  • Alternatively, experience at an implementation partner / consulting firm with relevant project experience

  • Experience in customer projects involving CRM, Data, or AI is a strong advantage

Technical Competency

Understanding of modern architecture topics such as:

  • CRM and platform architectures

  • Data Integration & Data Platforms

  • AI-powered applications

  • Automation and intelligent agents (Agentic AI)

The candidate does not need to be a developer but should be able to discuss architecture decisions and clearly explain complex technical relationships.

Business Mindset

  • Strong customer-first mentality

  • Ability to connect technical solutions with concrete business value

  • Experience working with diverse stakeholders (Business & IT)
