About the Opportunity
As Senior Sales Manager within our Global Public Sector team, you'll lead one of our highest-performing sales engines in EMEA — a team that is delivering exceptional year-over-year growth and built an outstanding reputation for Public Sector customer success.
This is a rare opportunity to inherit a proven, high-velocity team with established customer relationships, scalable methodologies and strong momentum. You'll be responsible for driving run-rate ACV growth while developing the next generation of enterprise sales leaders.
In this role, you will own a high-volume BCO (below cut-off) transaction business, executing a disciplined land-and-expand motion to deliver repeatable, scalable growth for the segment.
What You'll Do
Revenue & Growth Leadership
• Own and overachieve revenue quota across Italy Public Sector markets (consisting in three clusters: Central Government, Local Government & Healthcare) for the designated below cut-off segment.
• Leverage the full C360 license portfolio through multi-cloud attach (Core, AI & Data 360, Tableau, Digital, MuleSoft)
• Build and maintain pipeline growth and coverage with disciplined forecast accuracy
• Localize theater-wide methods and sales plays to the italian Public Sector market
Team Leadership & Development
• Lead and develop a team of Account Executives
• Coach AEs on deal strategy, stakeholder engagement and planning
• Build "CEO of territory" mindset - empowering AEs to own their business and collaborate openly
• Create high-context, low-control environment that unleashes team potential
• Drive team decision-making confidence through strategic coaching
Strategic Execution
• Partner with the Core sales organization on resource allocation and territory planning
• Collaborate with Solution Engineers, Renewals and Partners to drive adoption and repeatable sales plays
• Lead quarterly business reviews and monthly pipeline/forecast sessions
• Represent Italy in EMEA theater leadership meetings
Customer & Stakeholder Management
• Maintain executive relationships with C-level stakeholders across Italian Public Sector
• Drive CONSIP Framework agreement consumption and optimization
• Position Salesforce as trusted partner for the Italian Public Sector with dedicated events (both in person and online)
• Navigate complex procurement processes and Public Sector buying cycles
About You
Required Experience
• 5+ years enterprise software sales experience in Italy with 2+ years in leadership roles
For this role we are considering Individual contributors with proven leadership experience in a matrixed organization
• Proven track record of consistently exceeding revenue targets
• Public Sector expertise understanding of Italian Government and healthcare markets
• Stakeholder management executive presence with C-level buyers
