Description
As the Manager/Sr. Manager/Director of Solution Engineering, MuleSoft Life Sciences Enterprise and Strategic Accounts, you will lead a team of Solution Engineers and to help build a high-growth and fast-paced business. You will develop and allocate resources, perform employee reviews and evaluations, participate in strategic deals and go-to-market initiatives, and support team members as needed to grow the business. The MuleSoft Sales team will rely on you to collaborate with them to yield strategic customer outcomes through both your own experiences and, more importantly, through the efforts of your highly talented team. Responsibilities:
Hire, develop, and coach talent at all levels in the team
Partner with Sales to create a GTM strategy and execution plan
Drive effective operational cadences and reporting for the team
Participate in strategic deals and support team members as needed to grow the business
Drive strategic initiatives and programs across Solution Engineering to actively support innovation
Partner with Solution Engineering leadership to drive scale and a top performing pre-sales team
Required Qualifications:
3+ years front-line SE leadership experience in a fast-paced environment
Extensive experience leading or participating in complex Solution Engineering organizations
Track record in building organizations and hiring, training, retaining top talent
Proven record of strategizing on large, complex sales, with evidence of value and solution selling skills
Ability to act as a force multiplier and have a passion for the industry, team and team members’ success by providing technical and subject-matter guidance, sales-process and presentation skills coaching, career development and mentorship
Understanding and experience in architecture, integration, and automation technology
Effective in customer facing/live engagements
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally within Salesforce
Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in Life Sciences and/or Healthcare industries
Background in integration, automation and API management
Demonstrable knowledge of relevant AI tools, uses, and relationships to the integration and automation marketplace
Demonstrable ability to innovate with new ideas, processes, and tools
Compelling leader who can effectively develop trust to supportively coach and drive team motivation
Ability to partner cross-functionally to develop and nurture a strong team culture
