Salesforce is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Solution Engineer to join our Italy Marketing Cloud team. This role is key to helping small and medium businesses transform their marketing through data-driven, personalized experiences powered by Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud (CDP). You will act as a trusted advisor to customers, translating business challenges into scalable digital marketing solutions and helping them adopt innovative strategies that drive growth. Responsibilities
Customer Discovery & Problem Solving: Understand customers’ business models and marketing challenges. Identify opportunities where Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud can deliver measurable value and growth.
Solution Design & Innovation: Collaborate with Account Executives and partners to create end-to-end solutions, including how Salesforce Data Cloud can unify and activate customer data for personalized engagement.
Engaging Demonstrations: Build and deliver impactful demos that bring Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud to life. Use storytelling to illustrate how customers can simplify their marketing operations and scale intelligently.
Strategic Guidance: Support customers in defining their marketing maturity roadmap, connecting marketing automation, data, and customer experience into a cohesive strategy that drives results.
Collaboration & Enablement: Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Professional Services, Partners) and help scale knowledge across the region through enablement and thought leadership initiatives.
Continuous Learning & Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of the latest Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud innovations. Share best practices and success stories with customers and the broader Solution Engineering community.
Qualifications
3+ years in Solution Engineering, Digital Marketing, or Pre-Sales roles. Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar MarTech platforms is highly preferred.
Understanding of Marketing Automation, Customer Data Platforms (CDP), APIs, and integrations. Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud is a plus.
Experience in Retail, Consumer Goods, Travel and Transportation is an advantage. Ability to translate marketing challenges into actionable solutions.
Excellent presentation and storytelling skills, capable of engaging audiences from marketing managers to C-level executives.
Curious, proactive, and collaborative. You enjoy working in a dynamic environment, learning from others, and helping customers grow with technology.
Intermediate/advanced level of English
