The Finance & Strategy (F&S) team serves as a trusted adviser to the business to help guide decision-making through business partner support and innovative and informative analyses. This role will be accountable for developing a deep understanding of key Service Cloud offerings (Field Service, ITSM, CCaaS) including analyzing historical performance, improving product-level forecasting, owning PxQ analysis, and supporting long range planning. Additionally, as Service Cloud continues to push top-line acceleration, you will be partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders evaluating investment decisions, building ROI analysis, and ensuring alignment between product strategy, financial outcomes, and broader company priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Create deep product expertise in the multiple Service Cloud add-on offerings (Field Service, ITSM, CcaaS) and build strong working partnerships with each of the product GMs.

  • Own the end-to-end financial narrative for assigned L2s, including historical performance, forecasts, and strategic drivers of revenue.

  • Own PxQ historical analysis and forward looking forecasts for areas of focus, translating product strategy, pricing actions, and volume dynamics into clear financial implications.

  • Act as a trusted thought partner, providing an independent financial perspective to support sound product and investment decisions.

  • Partner closely with Corporate Strategy pricing and packaging to define monetization strategies and provide data-driven insights to support decision making.

  • Develop framework for effective management, ROI analysis and business recommendations of strategic investments and their impact on PxQ as well as driving contribution margin expansion.

  • Partner in the progression from near-term revenue forecasting to the development of Service Cloud product long range plan (LRP) framework, evaluate performance against the plan and highlighting risks and opportunities.

  • Ensure close alignment across finance functions ensuring closer product alignment with Sales operating units (OUs) as well as the connection of Salesforce’s Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) investment into Product NNAOV growth.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or other relevant discipline. MBA preferred or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the Core Competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.).

  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in finance, consulting or analytics

  • Exceptional relationship-building skills demonstrated by ability to grow and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders

  • Demonstrated success in driving both strategic and operational activities

  • Proven skill in managing multiple stakeholders and leading cross functional initiatives

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, successfully applying this skill set to the business context

  • Extensive financial modeling experience

  • Excellent quantitative, written and presentation skills; innovative, organized, thorough and an eagerness to further develop these skills

  • Expertise in sourcing, structuring, and validating data across multiple systems to enable accurate analysis, forecasting, and executive decision-making.

This role is hybrid and goes into the office 3 days per week.
