Description
Internship Duration:
Start date: 15 June 2026
End date: 21 August 2026
Role Overview
Salesforce’s Employee Success (ES) Rewards team is moving beyond traditional HR. We are looking for a forward-thinking Reward Partner Intern to help us redefine our compensation and benefits landscape across the EMEA region.
This isn't your typical "data entry" internship. You will be at the intersection of data, strategy, and technology, helping us evolve our reward processes from manual workflows to AI-augmented decision-making. Your mission is to help us ensure our rewards remain competitive, equitable, and—most importantly—effective at keeping our best talent.
Key Responsibilities
Retention Tool Efficiency Review: Audit and evaluate the impact of our current retention initiatives and tools. You will analyze internal data to determine if our "stay" incentives and reward structures are truly driving engagement and reducing turnover in key EMEA markets.
The "Augmented Reward" Project: Research and propose how the Reward Partner role can be "augmented" by technology—moving away from manual spreadsheets toward predictive analytics and real-time insights.
Competitive Intelligence - build out anew Competitive Reward Intelligence Bank. You will track emerging tech players to decode their compensation structures, unique benefits, and "hidden" perks. Your mission is to transform raw market data into a strategic playbook that ensures our total rewards package remains the best in the industry. This is a high-impact role for a student who wants to see exactly how data-driven insights shape a global company’s talent strategy.
Data Storytelling: Turn complex compensation and benefits data into actionable insights by creating narratives, charts, and presentations for key leadership stakeholders.
Who You Are
The Analytical Explorer: You love data, but you’re more interested in the why behind the numbers than just the numbers themselves.
The Retention Strategist: You are curious about what makes people stay. You enjoy investigating the link between total rewards and long-term employee loyalty.
The Simplifier: You have a knack for taking complex policies or pay structures and making them easy for anyone to understand.
Tech-Curious: You have a genuine interest in AI, automation, or prompt engineering and want to apply these skills in a corporate HR environment.
Global Mindset: You are fascinated by the complexity of the EMEA region, including diverse currencies, regulations, and cultures.
Required Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's (HR, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field) with a graduation date in 2027.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (you know your way around a XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, but you’re ready to find a more automated way to do it).
Exceptional communication skills in English, with the ability to build relationships across different regions.
Eagerness to learn about compensation, benefits, and the ROI of employee retention.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with (or a strong desire to learn) AI agents and their application in business workflows.
Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau.
Previous internship or coursework involving data analysis, market research, or organizational behavior.
