The Salesforce Marketing team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager to drive Marketing’s AI adoption efforts and develop a new enablement program around AI.
You'll be a leader in designing and executing the programs that ensure Marketing is evaluating, implementing, and adopting AI tools for a variety of use cases. You'll establish and share AI best practices and resources that help drive the success of marketers at Salesforce. This role requires a highly ambitious self-starter who enjoys taking fuzzy requirements and wrestling them into well-defined, widely used processes–often for the first time. This position is ideal for an AI enthusiast with a track record of building new programs, helping teams learn, and measuring success in meaningful ways.
As a primary point of contact between Marketing and other Salesforce teams working on AI innovation, this role will include regular collaboration with our Legal, Compliance, Product, Product Marketing, and Marketing Technology teams. A successful candidate must be comfortable collaborating with technical stakeholders, approaching problems from multiple angles, actively participating in conversations about technology products and solutions, and translating technical information for a non-technical audience.
This role is part of the CMO Strategy & Operations team and reports to the Senior Director, Marketing Internal Communications & Enablement (MCE).
Key Responsibilities
Play a leading role in setting the overall strategy for how Marketing uses AI to achieve business goals.
Design and share guidelines by which Marketing evaluates, implements, scales, and measures the success of AI tools.
Establish policies and procedures for the operation and management of AI tools and agents, ensuring compliance and ethical considerations are addressed.
Collaborate with leaders and stakeholders to define how we measure the success of AI tools. Build buy-in for key performance indicators (KPIs), lead the implementation and adoption of performance measurement systems (like Tableau dashboards), and establish a shared understanding across Marketing around what a successful AI implementation looks like.
Determine the processes for retiring or decommissioning AI tools and agents when they are no longer needed or effective.
Proactively seeks out AI advancements, operational methodologies, innovative business use cases, and success stories about how AI is being used to change marketing.
Participate in the implementation and adoption of AI tools across Marketing. Oversee and expand AI enablement initiatives to accelerate AI adoption and proficiency across Marketing.
Simplify complex AI concepts into clear, relevant, and actionable communications and programs for diverse audiences within the marketing organization.
Collaborate with leaders and stakeholders to understand AI enablement needs across teams.
Participate in Salesforce and third-party AI conferences and events. Incorporate learnings into enablement programs.
Foster a culture of AI adoption, experimentation, and innovation within the marketing team, encouraging creative application of AI tools to solve business challenges.
Measuring the return on investment (ROI) of our AI investment by assessing usage, proper application, and demonstrated productivity

Required Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 7+ years of experience in change management, internal enablement, learning & development, or similar roles, preferably within a large B2B software company.
Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills. This is a must.
Able to confidently engage with technical Product teams on complex concepts, and able to speak and understand technical vocabulary. While this is not a technical role, being able to summarize and rephrase these concepts for a broad range of non-technical stakeholders is a core responsibility.
Demonstrated hands-on experimentation with multiple AI tools. We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate not just enthusiasm and excitement about AI, but who has also created useful, easy-to-understand AI-driven processes that the average person can learn and replicate.
Exceptional project management skills with an organized and detailed approach.
Experience in designing, developing, and delivering effective training programs and workshops. Bonus points if these are specifically around AI tool usage and best practices.
Proven ability to build trust, manage expectations, and provide regular updates on program status and outcomes.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and evolving environment, not just adapting to new challenges and priorities but actively seeking new innovations and incorporating them into existing work.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, provide counsel to senior leaders, and play a leadership role in spearheading initiatives and driving them forward.
