Salesforce is hiring for a Senior Specialist, Employee Communications to help drive proactive communications programs for Employee Success. We are storytellers and culture champions who bridge the gap between the employee experience and global media. You’ll play a key role in supporting internal and external communications for major ES initiatives—including global employee campaigns and product launches. We’re looking for a proactive learner with a bias for action, a passion for writing, and the organizational skills to help our team deliver world-class results.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in Public Relations and Employee Communications, contributing to Salesforce’s storytelling around AI, agent innovation, and customer success. You’ll support media relations, thought leadership, and events, helping to craft narratives that highlight Salesforce’s role as a technology leader. This role is perfect for someone who loves writing, research, and connecting ideas to broader trends—and who enjoys keeping a pulse on the latest in tech and media.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA/BS in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills with an interest in storytelling.

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and experienced project manager comfortable managing tasks and supporting teams in a fast-paced environment.

  • A creative thinker with a positive attitude and willingness to tackle challenges.

  • Interest in technology and innovation, especially AI and customer engagement.

  • A collaborative team player who takes initiative and delivers results.

YOUR IMPACT (RESPONSIBILITIES):

  • Strategic Campaign Support: Support leadership in developing and executing integrated communication campaigns that align with corporate values, drive business outcomes, and enhance the employee experience.

  • High-Impact Content Creation: Draft, edit, and adapt compelling content for diverse internal and external channels—including newsroom posts, executive briefings, Slack posts, and town hall presentations.

  • Project Management & Analysis: Manage end-to-end project timelines for communication initiatives, ensuring high-quality delivery while tracking and reporting on campaign performance and engagement metrics.

  • Thought Leadership & Brand Positioning: Conduct research on industry trends to identify opportunities to position Salesforce as an AI leader and tie corporate messaging to relevant global conversations.

  • Media Relations & PR Support: Create media briefing documents for executives, support PR efforts for corporate news and thought leadership, and monitor coverage.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a bridge between HR, Marketing, and Executive teams to ensure messaging consistency across global markets and diverse employee populations.

  • Strategic Innovation: Stay at the forefront of AI and media trends to contribute fresh, creative ideas to evolving PR and internal communication strategies.
