As an RVP, you will lead a team of dedicated Sales Leaders and Account Executives, ensuring Salesforce continues to deliver innovative solutions that empower organizations to achieve their missions.
Your Mission as a Regional Vice President (RVP):
Lead and Inspire: Oversee a team of Regional Sales Directors and Account Executives, driving individual and team performance while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and growth.
Strategic Leadership: Define and implement the go-to-market strategy for the business, aligning with Salesforce’s core values and corporate objectives.
Engage Partners: Cultivate and strengthen relationships with senior leaders across organizations, ensuring Salesforce’s solutions are positioned as transformative tools for public service delivery.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Solution Engineering, Partner Alliances, and other internal teams to ensure seamless execution of growth strategies.
Deliver Results: Drive accountability across your teams to exceed sales goals, with a strong focus on acquiring new public sector accounts while expanding relationships with existing customers.
Thought Leadership: Represent Salesforce at public sector forums, industry events, and user groups to enhance market presence and influence.
Operational Excellence: Oversee forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting, using data-driven insights to optimize business outcomes.
Talent Development: Hire, mentor, and develop top-tier sales talent, ensuring a strong and diverse team.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a senior sales leader, managing multiple teams or regions.
Demonstrated success in driving sales strategies that exceed targets and deliver impactful results.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage partners at the executive level.
Extensive experience in the technology industry, ideally with SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS solutions, and a strong understanding of the CRM space.
A strategic attitude with the ability to synthesize complex data and craft actionable insights for growth.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with business owners to support their technology needs.
Experience managing high velocity high volume complex sales territories.
Expertise in recruiting, developing, and retaining diverse sales talent.
Experience managing sales across multiple products.
