Description

Director level individual contributor who owns strategy and delivery for key parts of the Medical Affairs solution area on Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud. You will partner with Engineering, Design, Customer Success, Industries, and Field teams to ship durable, enterprise grade capabilities for global pharma and biotech

Your impact

  • Build and evolve a clear strategy and roadmap for Medical Affairs that delivers measurable customer value

  • Drive discovery with enterprise customers and internal stakeholders — convert problems into crisp PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria

  • Ship high-quality releases on the Salesforce Platform — balance speed, safety, scalability, and configurability

  • Define metrics and operating rhythm — adoption, time to first value, SLA attainment, response quality, governance coverage

  • Lead complex cross-functional work without direct reports — create alignment and make timely tradeoffs

Focus areas you may lead

  • Medical Information — intake, triage, assignment, response assembly with references, approvals, versioned Q&A, SLA dashboards, audit trails

  • MSL workflows — call prep, guided capture mapped to taxonomy, signal detection, compliant follow-ups, reporting

  • KOL planning and collaboration — unified profiles, interaction history, field–home office handoffs with Safety, Clinical, and Commercial

  • Clinical trial collaboration — referral flows, site support signals, barrier tracking, enrollment visibility

  • Integrations and data model alignment — Salesforce data model, Service Console, Data Cloud, Slack, and third-party data and literature sources

Minimum requirements

  • 10+ years of product management experience in enterprise SaaS, including platform or workflow products

  • Proven ability to lead complex initiatives as an individual contributor — strong influence skills across Engineering, Design, Data, Compliance, and Field teams

  • Strong product writing and storytelling — PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and exec-ready narratives that drive decisions

  • Experience building on Salesforce or similar platforms — data modeling, permissions, extensibility, and Service Console patterns

  • Comfort working with customers in governed industries — partner with security, legal, and quality to land reviewable solutions

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in life sciences or healthcare enterprise workflows

  • Exposure to Medical Affairs domains — Medical Information, MSL workflows, KOL planning, or clinical trial collaboration

  • Familiarity with KOL data providers, scientific literature and reference management, or safety signal workflows

  • Experience designing AI-assisted experiences with human-in-the-loop review and traceability on enterprise platforms

  • Salesforce certifications or Trailhead credentials in Platform, Service, Health, or Industries
