As a Specialist Account Executive, you will drive Platform & Security revenue across our Enterprise and Commercial accounts in Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands. You will participate and lead in client and prospect meetings, working cross-functionally with Core Account Executives, Solution Engineers, Partner Alliances, and Services teams. You will be responsible for building strategic account plans, executing sales campaigns, and accurately forecasting your pipeline to senior sales leadership.

We are looking for an individual with great energy, initiative, and consultative selling skills to drive business growth for our Platform & Security offerings. You will formulate and implement account strategies to enhance customer adoption of our Platform, Agentforce, and Security solutions. This role works in partnership with Core Sales teams, Marketing, Pre-sales, Partner Alliances, and Services, therefore cross-company engagement and orchestration is crucial. The candidate will be a high-impact individual capable of driving outstanding business results and building trusted advisor relationships with customers.

Your Impact

You will directly impact the growth of Salesforce by driving Platform & Security revenue and adoption across BeLux and Netherlands. You will be masterful in client engagement and impact how your customers do business in a constantly evolving environment, positioning Salesforce as the trusted platform for AI-powered innovation and secure digital transformation.

  • Lead discovery sessions, security assessments, and executive workshops to articulate the business value of Platform and Security solutions

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans in partnership with Core Account Executives to identify whitespace opportunities and accelerate platform adoption

  • Engage at C-level (CIO, CTO, CISO) in enterprise and commercial customer organizations to position Platform & Security as strategic business enablers

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Solution Engineers, Security Specialists, Customer Success, and Partners to deliver compelling demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and tailored solutions

  • Accurate reporting on sales activity and forecasting to senior sales management

  • Consistent tracking of pipeline development, sales cycles, and results

  • Actively lead and support demand generation activities and customer engagement initiatives

  • Develop and implement successful sales campaigns aligned to regional strategy

  • Capable of successfully handling client escalations and technical objections

  • Leverage partner ecosystems (System Integrators, ISVs) to scale go-to-market efforts and drive customer success

Your Qualifications

Depending on the segment, the years of experience and skills needed to be successful will vary from 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience with a proven track record of quota attainment. In addition, a bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.

  • Prior experience working within the Software/Infrastructure/Platform (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS) space

  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks and security certifications (GDPR, SOC2, ISO 27001) is highly valued

  • Proven successful experience in selling complex technology solutions to Enterprise and Commercial accounts

  • Demonstrated ability to build and execute strategic account plans that drive revenue growth

  • Excellent presentation and executive engagement skills, particularly with CIOs, CTOs, and CISOs

  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills

  • A self-starter that can thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience in technical sales, particularly selling to CTOs/CIOs and addressing platform, application development, or security requirements

  • Fluency in English and Dutch or French required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience selling Salesforce Platform, Security, or comparable enterprise platform/security solutions

  • Deep understanding of enterprise architecture, application development, platform technologies, and security/compliance requirements

  • Track record of driving significant revenue through strategic, consultative selling
