What You Will Be Doing:

  • Architect and lead the design of large-scale, multi-region infrastructure platforms and automation systems.

  • Define technical strategy and roadmaps for Cloud Service Ownership platform evolution and modernization.

  • Facilitate collaborator reviews and cross-functional meetings to evaluate proposed changes to reference architecture or standards, balancing agility and risk.

  • Manage post-implementation reviews, capturing feedback to iterate on standards and architectural models.

  • Partner with Product and Security teams to integrate advanced capabilities and ensure compliance with enterprise requirements (Hyperforce, SDB).

  • Lead complex migration projects involving critical business systems.

  • Drive platform reliability initiatives including SLA definition, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.

  • Establish engineering excellence standards, best practices, and governance frameworks across the organization.

  • Mentor and develop senior and mid-level engineers, providing technical guidance and career development support.

  • Collaborate with executive leadership on platform strategy, resource planning, and organizational priorities.

  • Drive innovation initiatives including proof-of-concepts, technology evaluations, and platform research.

  • Lead vendor relationships and technology partnerships for strategic platform components.

What You Should Have:

  • 8+ years of senior-level experience in DevOps and/or extreme accountable service ownership duties, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering at enterprise scale.

  • Proven track record of architecting and implementing large-scale, distributed systems serving thousands of users.

  • Expert-level programming skills in at least one language such as Python, NodeJS, or Java.

  • Expert-level mastery of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) including advanced services and enterprise features.

  • Deep expertise in containerization platforms (Kubernetes, service mesh, advanced orchestration patterns).

  • Comprehensive experience with Infrastructure as Code at scale (Terraform Enterprise, custom tooling).

  • Expert knowledge of CI/CD platform architecture (Jenkins Enterprise, GitHub Actions, custom pipeline orchestration).

  • Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and platform scalability patterns.

  • Advanced networking and security expertise including zero-trust architectures and compliance frameworks.

  • Proven leadership experience including technical mentoring, project leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate technical capabilities into business value.

Technical Leadership & Impact:

  • Drive architectural decisions for enterprise-wide platform initiatives with multi-million dollar impact.

  • Establish center of excellence practices and cultivate technical communities within the organization.

  • Drive organizational transformation initiatives including DevOps maturity advancement and cultural change.

  • Own platform P&L responsibility including resource optimization and strategic investment planning.

  • Own the on-call rotation and incident response strategies.

Strategic Responsibilities:

  • Define long-term technical vision (1-3 year roadmap) for Consumer Goods Cloud near core platform evolution.

  • Focus on scalability, availability, security, and cost to serve.
