Salesforce is seeking elite sales talent to join our high-performing Commercial Sales team. This is an opportunity for accomplished Account Executives who thrive in complex environments, operate with a “CEO of your territory” mindset, and want to partner with customers on meaningful, long-term business transformation.
As a Commercial Account Executive at Salesforce, you will own, progress, and close opportunities across the full Salesforce Customer 360 platform. You will work across a broad and diverse customer base, engaging organisations of varying size, maturity, and complexity across multiple industries.
You will work with customers' complex business challenges, navigating multi-product environments where solutions must be tailored, integrated, and aligned to broader organisational strategy. Success in this role requires comfort selling sophisticated, interconnected products and the ability to continuously learn and articulate the value of evolving technology across different industry contexts.
As a trusted advisor, you will build relationships across the C-suite, influence senior stakeholders, and lead complex, multi-threaded sales cycles from first conversation through to contract signature. You will be accountable for generating and converting high-quality pipeline, while partnering closely with other Salesforce teams to drive customer success and long-term growth across your portfolio.
We are hiring across two distinct segments within our Commercial organisation. Both require strong commercial acumen, intellectual curiosity, and a true ownership mindset.
Mid-Market (200–500 employees)
You will focus on NSW’s scale-up ecosystem, engaging high-growth organisations across a wide range of industries, navigating rapid change, increasing complexity, and expanding technology stacks. You will lead high-velocity, multi-stakeholder deals that often span multiple products and functions, helping customers scale sustainably.
General Business (500–2,000 employees)
You will manage a portfolio of established Australian enterprises across multiple industries, navigating layered decision-making structures and executing sophisticated, multi-product solution strategies in complex operating environments.
Your Impact

Sell the Salesforce Customer 360 platform across a diverse portfolio of commercial customers and industries
Position and connect multiple Salesforce products to solve complex customer challenges
Build trusted relationships within existing accounts while identifying new growth opportunities
Land new logos and expand Salesforce’s footprint across your territory
Lead complex deals end-to-end, including prospecting, deal strategy, forecasting, and execution
Engage in executive-level conversations, industry events, and customer roundtables
Continuously learn and stay current across Salesforce’s evolving product portfolio and the broader software landscape
Define territory and vertical strategies, identifying target accounts and building a strong go-to-market plan
Balance short-term execution with a long-term view of revenue growth and customer value

Who You Are
An experienced Account Executive with minimum 5+ years of quota-carrying sales experience
Demonstrated experience selling, or working with, complex, multi-product or platform-based solutions
A genuine passion for software, technology, and continuous learning
Proven success achieving and exceeding sales targets
Comfortable engaging C-level stakeholders, or able to demonstrate the gravitas and credibility to influence at this level
Curious, commercially minded, and motivated to master new products, industries, and customer contexts
Self-driven, resilient, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
High EQ, with the ability to navigate diverse stakeholders and complex internal and external relationships
A strategic thinker who can craft a point of view, hold an informed opinion, and act as a trusted advisor to customers
Growth-minded, self-aware, and intentional about your career trajectory
Expertise in solution-selling methodologies (e.g., MEDDICC, Challenger, Command of the Message).
Deep experience with CRM technology and a strong network of customer references (Preferred)
