Description
Salesforce is seeking a Cloud Value Specialist to transform customer success outcomes into quantified value stories that accelerate specialist cloud sales cycles and drive deal progression. This role is critical in turning post-implementation use cases into repeatable, measurable proof points that help sellers close deals faster.
You'll work closely with Sales, Solution Engineering, Customer Success, and other cross-functional teams to discover, quantify, and scale customer value stories that provide credible proof of Salesforce platform value across single and multi-cloud solutions.
Role Description
This Cloud Value Specialist role will focus primarily in these areas:
Customer Value Story Development
Conduct post-implementation customer discovery to identify business outcomes, use cases, and quantifiable business value achieved on the Salesforce platform
Transform customer outcomes into compelling value stories mapped to cloud solutions, sales plays, industries, and personas
Create both qualitative narratives and quantitative value assets that can be used across the sales cycle
Manage the end-to-end customer value story process from identification through publication and scaling
Sales & Deal Support
Provide support during the pre-sales deal cycle for targeted opportunities, proposals and RFPs requiring customer proof points
Assist with executive briefings and provide inputs into external case studies and references
Conduct deal coaching and enablement sessions on value stories and benefit realisation
Innovation, Impact & Scaling
Build frameworks and reusable templates to accelerate story production, drive repeatability and standardisation
Build and maintain a customer value story repository that is searchable and accessible by sales teams to support deal progression
Track metrics on story production, field adoption, and revenue impact
Innovate through AI and automation to help sellers discover and deploy relevant stories quickl
Required Core Skills & Experience:
Demonstrated experience in Customer Advocacy, Strategy Consulting, Sales Operations or other analytical roles
Experience creating compelling value story artifacts for internal and external audiences
Excellent research and discovery skills to extract insights from customer conversations and data
Experience identifying and quantifying business benefits (revenue growth, cost reduction, efficiency improvements, risk mitigation)
Experience working on Salesforce clouds and articulating platform value
Familiarity with multi-cloud platform capabilities
Strategic thinking with attention to detail in execution
Communication & Collaboration:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to tailor messaging to different audiences
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across Sales, Solution Engineering, Customer Success, and Marketing teams
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a sales or pre-sales environment supporting deal progression
Knowledge of SaaS business models and cloud technology solutions
