Salesforce is hiring for a Solutions Engineer within MuleSoft to join our Pre-Sales Solution Engineering team, which plays a pivotal role in driving MuleSoft's growth. As a Pre-Sales Solution Engineer, you will serve as a technical sales partner to our sales teams, aligning our solutions with our customers' visions. The MuleSoft Sales team will rely on your product and technical expertise throughout the sales cycle. You will be an integral part of the success for both our customers and Account Executives by performing technical discovery qualification, delivering product demonstrations and Proof of Concepts, delivering technical workshops, and making architectural recommendations.
As a customer trusted advisor, you will bridge the gap between the technical solution and the desired business outcomes for the customer.
You will help customers evolve from traditional integration patterns towards more intelligent, AI-assisted and agent-driven architectures, where systems, APIs and workflows are orchestrated to support emerging agentic use cases.
You will take ownership of solution reliability and be the conduit for ensuring the customer's needs are met.

A good understanding of agentic concepts and technologies (e.g. MCP, Agent-to-Agent patterns), and how integration platforms enable reliable, governed execution of AI-driven workflows.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud technologies - iPaaS, SaaS applications, Automation solutions, cloud infrastructure, etc. is preferred
Experience supporting complex B2B Enterprise sales cycles, navigating multi-stakeholder environments and aligning technical wins with business value
Hands-on experience on Maven is preferred
Hands-on experience on REST API and Json is preferred
Experience building and delivering Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and responding to functional & technical elements of RFIs/RFPs independently
Interest or initial experience in designing AI-assisted workflows or agentic use cases is a plus."
Degree in IT / Business Informatics or equivalent relevant experience required.
Ability to travel as needed
