Account Solution Engineer - Core SMB
Also known as a Pre-sales Consultant, Sales Consultant, Pre-Sales Engineer, Sales Engineer, or simply SE, you’ll be a key player in the sales cycle, delivering thought leadership and designing solutions that enhance our customers’ experience. You’ll collaborate with colleagues, support our sales team, and translate business objectives into compelling recommendations. With your technical and sales skills, you’ll present our product offerings, address objections, and inspire confidence in our technology.
The Account Solution Engineer acts as a trusted advisor to customers while guiding them through their digital transformation journey.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and lead the entire solution cycle through close collaboration with other teams.
Understand the customer’s needs and position Salesforce’s products as the best solution to solve unique challenges.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of the client’s industry and technology as it relates to Salesforce solutions.
Develop and deliver innovative custom solutions, building and presenting tailored Salesforce product demos to key decision-makers to address business challenges and demonstrate value.
Participate in product, sales, and procedural training and certifications to maintain the knowledge necessary for success in the role.
Meet quarterly and annual objectives set by management.
Respond efficiently to RFPs.
Lead the technical side of the sales cycle.
Show curiosity and drive for career growth by engaging in internal training programs and mentorship initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Experience implementing Digital Transformation strategies and delivering measurable success for customers.
Proven record in solution engineering, consulting, delivery, or training within an enterprise software organization (we welcome diverse backgrounds).
Strong oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
Excellent time management skills in dynamic environments.
Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team to solve problems in fast-paced, energizing environments.
Inquisitive, practical, and passionate about technology and knowledge sharing.
Eager to understand why and how things work.
Skilled at researching information, experimenting, focusing deeply on topics, and solving complex challenges.
Strong ability to explain ideas clearly and keep audiences engaged.
Willingness and ability to travel occasionally.
Experience will be evaluated based on alignment with core role competencies (e.g., extracurricular leadership roles, military service, volunteer work, etc.).
Fluency in Portuguese and English.
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of customer business requirements across multiple industries, with knowledge of industry-specific solutions.
Salesforce product knowledge and certifications, particularly in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Agentforce.
Knowledge of Data Cloud is a strong plus.
