About Ossium

Ossium’s mission is to improve the health, vitality, and longevity of human beings through bioengineering. We develop, manufacture, and bank cell therapy products that apply the power of stem cell science to revolutionize treatment for patients with blood, immune, and orthopedic diseases. At Ossium, we empower our employees, maintain the highest standards of operational excellence, and are a force for good.

About the Job

We’re hiring a contract position that will be responsible for overseeing and leading the commercial contracting, as well as coordinating execution of clinical trial contracts and trade agreement execution efforts for our growing cell therapy organization. This role will focus specifically on contracting between Ossium and transplant centers, driving efficient execution of agreements, accelerating time to contract, and strengthening key customer relationships.

You will be responsible for executing the contracting process by managing a high volume of active agreements with transplant centers. You will engage with transplant program administrators, hospital contracting teams, finance, and legal stakeholders to drive contract redlining, negotiation, and progression toward final agreement. The role includes managing iterative contract revisions, facilitating alignment across stakeholders, and ensuring contracts reflect agreed-upon commercial and operational terms. The Contracting Manager actively identifies and resolves bottlenecks, maintains momentum across multiple parallel agreements, and supports onboarding of new transplant centers through completion of contracting.

This is a contract role that may be performed remotely from any location in the United States.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Life Sciences, or related field preferred)
  • 3–7 years of experience in healthcare, biotech, or pharma contracting, specifically within transplant, cell therapy (e.g., CAR-T), or hospital-based agreements
  • Proven track record of independently managing contract redlining, negotiation cycles, and execution to near-final agreement
  • Strong understanding of hospital contracting processes and stakeholder dynamics
  • Experience working directly with community, private, and academic transplant centers preferred
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously
  • Ability to operate with a high level of organization and excellent time management in a dynamic startup environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualification

  • Experience in CAR-T, transplant, or other complex hospital-based contracting environments
  • Familiarity with trade agreements, MSAs, and service agreements in healthcare settings
  • Experience with managing clinical trial contracts

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute commercial contracting and trade agreement activities between Ossium and transplant centers
  • Manage end-to-end contract lifecycle, including drafting, redlining, negotiation, and progression to near-final agreement
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for transplant centers on all contracting-related matters
  • Drive timely contract execution by proactively managing follow-ups, resolving comments, and removing bottlenecks
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with transplant program administrators, hospital contracting teams, finance, and legal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Commercial, Legal, Finance, Operations, and Medical Affairs to align on contract terms and resolve issues
  • Ensure consistency with company templates while accommodating necessary center-specific modifications
  • Track contract status, maintain documentation, and provide visibility into pipeline and progress
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and industry guidelines
