Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on IT Manager in our Mountain View, CA office to lead and support a small, high-performing IT team while also rolling up their sleeves on day-to-day technical work. This role owns IT operations for our US team members,, including employee onboarding and off-boarding, Mac provisioning, and administration of our core internal tools. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing people while remaining deeply hands-on, is well-versed in Google Workspace, Azure, and Microsoft tools, and has experience coordinating across time zones and with offshore teams
What You’ll Do
- Manage and mentor a team of 3-4 IT professionals, balancing people management with hands-on technical execution
- Own end-to-end IT support for US-based employees, ensuring fast, reliable resolution of hardware, software, and access issues
- Manage employee onboarding and off-boarding, including account provisioning/de-provisioning, equipment setup, and access management
- Provision, configure, and maintain company Mac devices for new and existing employee
- Administer and support internal tools, including Jamf, MDM, Apple Business Manager/Apple Store, and related device management platform
- Administer and support Google Workspace, Azure, and Microsoft 365 environments, including user accounts, permissions, and security settings
- Coordinate IT operations and support across multiple time zones, ensuring consistent coverage and responsiveness
- Manage and collaborate with an offshore IT team to ensure alignment on priorities, processes, and service quality
- Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation to support a scalable and secure IT environment
- Partner with People/HR, Security, and other cross-functional teams on IT-related initiatives and compliance requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve IT processes, tooling, and employee experienc
Key Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in IT management or a senior IT support | administration role
- Proven experience managing a small team (3-4 people) while remaining hands-on with day-to-day IT work
- Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace, Microsoft 365/Azure, and related enterprise tools
- Hands-on experience with Mac provisioning and device management tools such as Jamf and MDM solutions
- Experience with Apple Business Manager/Apple Store for device and app deployment
- Demonstrated experience managing employee onboarding and off-boarding processes
- Experience working across multiple time zones and managing or coordinating with an offshore team
- Work onsite 3 - 5 days a week in the Mountain View, CA office
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting a fully or partially remote/distributed workforce
- Familiarity with IT security best practices and compliance requirements
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Apple Certified Support Professional, Microsoft/Azure certifications, Google Workspace certification)
