Curriculum Designer & Learning Content Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a Curriculum Designer & Learning Content Specialist to create clear, engaging, and scalable learning content for ORO’s platform.

This role is ideal for someone who can take complex software concepts and turn them into structured learning journeys, guides, videos, walkthroughs, FAQs, assessments, and other learner-friendly assets. The person should have strong instructional design skills, excellent writing ability, and the curiosity to understand how a SaaS platform works.

This is not a training delivery role. The focus is on curriculum design, content creation, and multimedia learning assets for employees, customers, and partners.

What You’ll Do

  • Design structured curricula, learning paths, and content plans for different learner audiences.
  • Create product learning assets such as guides, walkthroughs, scripts, videos, e-learning modules, FAQs, knowledge checks, and assessments.
  • Translate complex platform concepts into simple, clear, and practical learning content.
  • Understand product workflows, configuration concepts, and platform behavior well enough to create accurate training material.
  • Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, Implementation, Academy, and subject matter experts to capture and organize knowledge.
  • Use instructional design principles to make content easy to learn, apply, and measure.
  • Create or support multimedia content using tools such as Camtasia, Canva, Synthesia, Articulate Rise, or similar platforms.
  • Keep learning content accurate by staying updated on relevant product releases, launches, and platform changes.
  • Ensure content is consistent, polished, brand-aligned, and suitable for internal and external audiences.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in instructional design, curriculum design, learning content creation, or software education.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex software, technical, or functional concepts.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design frameworks.
  • Comfort learning and navigating SaaS platforms.
  • Ability to work with SMEs and convert raw knowledge into structured learning content.
  • Good visual sense and ability to create clean, learner-friendly materials.
  • Strong ownership, attention to detail, and project management skills.

Good to Have

  • Experience creating learning content for SaaS, enterprise software, procurement, supply chain, ERP, workflow automation, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with tools such as Articulate Rise, Storyline, Captivate, Camtasia, Synthesia, Canva, Adobe tools, or similar.
  • Familiarity with SCORM, xAPI, LMS publishing, or e-learning standards.
  • Experience creating certification content, assessments, simulations, or scenario-based learning.
  • Certification in instructional design or learning content development.

Who This Role Is Great For

This role is a strong fit for:

  • An instructional designer who enjoys working on software/product learning.
  • A learning content creator who can write, structure, and design content.
  • A technical writer or product content creator looking to move into learning design.
  • A curriculum designer who likes simplifying complex concepts.
  • A multimedia learning creator with strong writing and instructional design skills.

Work Environment

  • Remote-first role with virtual collaboration.
  • The role involves content design, product learning, SME collaboration, multimedia creation, and continuous content improvement.
  • You will work closely with Academy, Product, Implementation, Customer Success, and other internal teams.
