About ORO Labs:

ORO Labs is an agentic procurement orchestration company on a mission to humanize the procurement experience. Founded in 2020 by former SAP Ariba product leaders, ORO delivers effortless user experiences so businesses can shorten cycle times, decrease risk through end-to-end process visibility, and remain agile in response to change with a no-code platform purpose-built for procurement. Trusted by users in over 70 countries, and supported by an extensive network of implementation and technology partners, ORO helps Fortune 500 and fast-growing global companies automate processes, improve cross-team collaboration, and scale procurement operations. The ORO platform is trusted by the world’s largest brands, including The Coca-Cola Company, Novartis, Danone, Roche, BASF, Liberty Global, Bayer, Millennium, and Booking.com.

About the Role

ORO Labs is seeking a Solutions Engineer to drive our expansion across the European market. This is a role for someone who is energized by a high-growth environment and possesses the resilience to adapt as our product and the market evolve. If you aren’t the type of person who gets excited every time your phone has a new OS update to explore, this probably isn’t the right environment for you. As the primary technical bridge between our enterprise prospects and our orchestration platform, you will act as a change agent, helping the world's largest companies fundamentally disrupt and modernize their procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Solution Design & Discovery: Lead deep-dive discovery sessions to map "as-is" procurement workflows to a modernized "to-be" state using ORO’s orchestration layer.
  • Product Demonstrations and POC Support: Build and deliver tailored, value-based demonstrations that solve specific business challenges around intake, supplier onboarding, and risk management.
  • EMEA Compliance & Localization: Act as the subject matter expert on regional requirements, including GDPR data residency and localized tax/legal workflows.
  • Business Value Articulation: Translate complex product capabilities into clear business outcomes for C-level stakeholders (CPO, CFO, CIO).
  • RFP Ownership: Manage the technical and functional responses for RFIs/RFPs, ensuring ORO’s value proposition is clearly communicated.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Procurement Domain Expertise: 5+ years of experience in Pre-Sales or Solutions Consulting. Familiarity with the "Intake-to-Procure" category is a significant advantage.
  • ERP & P2P Familiarity: Strong functional knowledge of major procurement ecosystems, specifically SAP Ariba, SAP S/4HANA, or Coupa, providing the insight needed to help customers navigate legacy system challenges.
  • No-Code Mastery & "Last Mile"
  • Solutioning: You thrive in a no-code environment and enjoy the autonomy to build out the "last mile" for prospects. You take pride in delivering exactly what a customer need, tailored to their specific business logic, without relying on messy workarounds.
  • AI & Agentic Orchestration: Ability to explain and configure AI-driven workflows and Agents
  • Market Knowledge: Proven success navigating enterprise sales cycles.

Preferred "Nice-to-Have" Technical Skills

  • Integration Knowledge: Foundational understanding of how enterprise systems connect (REST APIs, webhooks, or middleware like Workato/MuleSoft) is a plus but not essential.
  • Technical Architecture: Experience discussing system-to-system data flows, API rate limiting, or asynchronous queuing.

Professional Background

  • Experience: Track record of success in a customer-facing PreSales role at a high-growth SaaS company
  • Communication: Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to build trust with both IT teams and business procurement leads.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Languages: Fluency in English is required; additional European languages (German, French, or Spanish) are highly desirable.
