Job Title: Curriculum Designer & Content Creator

About the Role
We are looking for a Curriculum Designer & Content Creator to build engaging, scalable learning experiences that simplify complex software configuration concepts. This role will play a key part in driving platform adoption by creating high-quality curricula and multimedia content for internal teams, customers, and partners.
You will work closely with Product, Customer Success, and subject matter experts to translate technical product capabilities into clear, learner-friendly content that enables users to confidently configure and use the ORO platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop structured curricula and learning paths that accelerate platform adoption
- Create product-focused learning assets including e-learning modules, walkthroughs, videos, guides, FAQs, and assessments
- Translate complex technical and configuration-driven concepts into accessible, engaging learning content
- Independently navigate the ORO platform to understand product configurations and create accurate instructional materials
- Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, and subject matter experts to capture and structure knowledge
- Use multimedia and authoring tools (e.g., Camtasia, Synthesia, Canva) to develop high-quality content
- Apply instructional design frameworks (e.g., ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy) to ensure learning effectiveness
- Ensure all content is brand-aligned, consistent, and measurable in terms of learning impact
- Stay up to date with product releases and launches to continuously refresh and create relevant internal and external content
Qualifications
Education
- Certification in Instructional Design preferred (degree not mandatory)
Experience
- 4+ years of experience in instructional design or content creation, ideally within a software or SaaS environment
- Experience creating learning content for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to understand and explain software product configurations effectively
- Hands-on experience with authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline/Rise, Captivate, or similar
- Familiarity with SCORM and xAPI standards
Skills & Competencies
- Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts
- Creative visual design and multimedia production capabilities
- Proficiency with tools such as Camtasia, Synthesia, Canva, Adobe Illustrator (or equivalent)
- Solid project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
- Technical aptitude and curiosity to learn complex systems
Preferred Certifications (Nice to Have)
- ATD APTD or CPTD
- Instructional Design Certification (ATD or equivalent)
- Camtasia Certification (TechSmith)
- Synthesia Academy Certification
- Canva Design School Certification
- Adobe Captivate Specialist
- Articulate Storyline / Rise Certification
