Role Summary
We're looking for a skilled Technical Architect with a proven track record in implementing procurement systems like Ariba, Coupa, and SAP. Are you a consultant ready to leverage your deep technical knowledge on the front lines of sales? This is a fantastic opportunity to directly impact client success by becoming a solutions architect within our sales team
You'll leverage this expertise to showcase how ORO can seamlessly collaborate with these platforms and their ERP systems, highlighting our compatibility and value proposition. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in procurement processes, coupled with hands-on experience in configuring and deploying procurement solutions for clients across various industries. This position calls for a proactive individual who will collaborate with internal stakeholders to configure demonstrations and proof of concepts, showcasing the value that ORO can offer within a prospect's procurement landscape.
Responsibilities
Provide primary support to the sales process for all technology, security and data integration demonstrations and presentations.Respond/review to the technical sections of RFI/RFPsDocument, maintain and communicate technology related sales collateral for use across the organizationDevelop functional prototypes demonstrating the seamless integration of ORO with external systems like P2P and ERP. These prototypes serve as tangible proof of concepts, showcasing the potential of an integrated ORO platform within a prospect’s procurement landscape.Conduct comprehensive assessments of client procurement landscape, identify technical gaps and inefficiencies, and recommend solutions to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.Illustrate to the prospect's technical team how Oro's technical capabilities outshine competitors, highlighting our unique advantages.Provide expert guidance and support to prospects on technical best practices throughout the sales cycle.Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies during sales cycles, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure success.Demonstrate exceptional customer-facing skills with a proven track record of building strong relationships. Successfully persuade the prospect's technical team of the superiority of our technology approach.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.Proven experience (10+ years) in implementing procurement systems such as Ariba, Coupa, SAP, FieldGlass, ServiceNow or similar platforms for clients across diverse industries.Proven experience integrating to SAP R3/ECC/S4 HANA, Oracle and other major ERP platformsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with prospects, understand their needs, and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, fostering a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.Possess a comprehensive understanding of third-party data systems relevant to the procurement process and how these could be integrated with ORO in a compelling manner.Willingness to travel occasionally for client engagements, as needed.
