The Operations Quality and Compliance Auditor (QCA) is responsible for executing the planned quality and compliance audits.
The QCA shall perform internal quality and compliance audits in accordance with the Quality Management System standards (ISO 9001), Operational Standards in the CORE Operations (First Mile, Last Mile, Sort, Middle Mile), 5S Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as well as verification on the station’s adherence to legal and/or statutory requirements. The auditor shall also be involved in operational risk assessment where necessary.
The QCA shall be based at the different consolidation hub/s in his or her assigned region and work out of office during warehouse and station audits. The scope of his/her duties will be thoroughly discussed in this document.
A. Technical and Operations
a. Be familiar with the ISO 9001 Standard or other Management System Standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and work instructions (WI) applicable to the area being audited.
b. In the course of audit, the QCA must be able to Identify processes strengths, gaps, as well as opportunities for improvement.
c. Report to the Quality and Compliance Manager and/or Head of Operational Quality Management the progress of conducted audits and status of the CIPARs issued to the stations
B. Compliance Checking and Auditing
a. Conducts internal quality and operational audits at the stations operated by Wall Street Courier Services Inc. all throughout the Philippines.
b. Raise audit findings through the proper documentation and in accordance with the audit standards set by the company.
c. Communicate to the auditees the results of audits within the same day the audit is conducted.
d. Verify the effectiveness of self-audits conducted by the stations
e. Perform evidence-based auditing and ensure that all nonconformities are documented through issuance of corrective, Improvement and Preventive Action Report (CIPAR).
f. Monitor the status of CIPARs in the assigned domain and coordinate with the auditees on the status of issued CIPARs.
g. Verify the proposed actions to address audit issues, gaps and improvement areas and close out the issued CIPARs should implemented actions be found effective.
h. May be assigned to conduct Design and Implementation tests, or other audit-relevant activities from time to time
