Key Accountabilities
- Advising on and handling regulatory compliance risks and matters;
- Designing and delivering training in relation to regulatory compliance risks and matters;
- Processes and policies relating to handling regulatory issues and fostering regulatory compliance;
- Corporate, operational, and regulatory license applications, renewals, and issues advice;
- Building a ‘compliance culture’;
- Liaison and working with local competent authorities and other external parties related to regulatory or compliance issues are required;
- Work on other non-regulatory works as assigned by Legal Head and Regional Legal Team.
Key Requirements
- 7+ years experience in a law firm, legal department of a reputable company, Vietnamese authority, or a combination of the aforesaid.
- Extensive experiences in 2 or more of the following areas: (a) licensing; (b) anti-bribery; (c) privacy/data protection; (d) competition; (e) sales/procurement/ contracting processes;
- At least the latest 3 years of experience in handling and advising in regulatory compliance matters;
- Legal work experience in logistics, transportation, e-commerce, or any highly regulated industry will make the candidate stand out;
- Handling, advising, and resolving Vietnamese regulatory compliance matters in a manner consistent with Ninja Van Group's strategy and goals;
- Designing and implementing processes and policies relating to regulatory compliance.
- Delivering internal regulatory-compliance training;
- Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts, procurement contracts, leases, and other commercial documents;
- Developing and maintaining relationships with relevant local authorities to support the operation and business in the country;
- Strong ability to communicate in Vietnamese and English.
