About the unit
The Finance Unit monitors the Company's financial health in order to increase profitability in the long run. The Unit supports the operations of the biusiness through managing all financial processes and decisions such as Accounting Operations, Compliance, Treasury, Credit, Tax and Reporting.
The Senior AP Accountant is responsible for checking, verifying, validating, and recording all expenditures. To interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work to ensure the accuracy of expenses and compliance with applicable standards.
Main Duties:
- Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
- Conducts account analysis, maintains monthly balance sheet and audit schedules and review of accounting entries
- Secures financial information by completing database backups.
- Completeness and ensuring the accuracy of financial documents, as well as their compliance with relevant laws and Finance regulations.
- Process and validate rush RFP requested by different departments.
- Prepare AP aging for monthly reports.
- Handling bookkeeping and following accounting best practices, preparing Journal entries and necessary adjustments
- Assisting the financial department or superiors with audits, forecasts, and other fiscal planning.
- Process of proper filling, securing of attachments and completeness of necessary documents for audit, ensuring proper mailing and other duties as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Accounting tech, Finance or its equivalent
Preferably proven 1-3 years’ experience as similar role
Should possess solid communication, technology, organizational and analytical skills
Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications like MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint
Preferably knowledgeable to Netsuite
Ability to maintain clear and accurate financial records.
Ability to work independently with little supervision
