Job Responsibilities

  • First Mile Operations
  • Manage and streamline the pickups of parcels from various shippers.
  • Ensure timely pickup and coordination with Sales , KAM and CSM teams.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance first-mile efficiency and shippers satisfaction.
  • Sortation
  • Oversee the operations of sortation centers, ensuring accurate and timely sorting of parcels.
  • Implement and monitor standard operating procedures for sortation processes.
  • Analyze sortation performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Middle Mile Operations
  • Manage transportation logistics between sortation centers and hubs.
  • Optimize routing and scheduling to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Maintain strong relationships with transportation providers and negotiate favorable contracts.
  • Last Mile Operations
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of parcels to end customers.
  • Monitor and manage the performance of delivery.
  • Implement innovative solutions to improve delivery success rates and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor performance metrics and evaluate operational efficiency.
  • Analyse data and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Analyse fleet operations and recommend measures to enhance fleet efficiency and productivity.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and integrate them into operational strategies.
  • Ensure all operations comply with relevant regulations and safety standards.
  • Manage and oversee special projects assigned by the Head of Operations.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or operations management, preferably from an eCommerce environment.
  • Experience in cold chain and supply chain are added advantages.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in report generation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
