Reporting to the vice president of Corporate Accounts, this role will develop and implement strategic sales initiatives and build trusted relationships with influential clinical, administrative and economic decision-makers across targeted health systems. The role will partner closely across Boston Scientific franchises to understand business priorities, align strategies and drive shared success with key stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will be based in Florida and will have responsibility for AdventHealth IDN, Cooperative Services of Florida and BayCare Health System. This position requires travel throughout Florida and across the U.S., as appropriate. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Serve as the primary relationship owner and trusted adviser for customers within accounts representing significant revenue and growth potential.
- Partner closely with divisional regional directors, assistant vice presidents and marketing managers to develop plans and objectives aligned with the national account strategy.
- Develop deep knowledge of assigned accounts, including operations, financial performance, organizational dynamics, strategic priorities, decision-makers and decision-making processes. Identify key accounts based on growth potential and business retention needs.
- Build strong, sustainable relationships with key executive influencers, including CEOs, COOs and CFOs, to understand and define their strategic priorities and business needs.
- Develop and deliver transformational business solutions, offerings and services by collaborating with marketing and other internal stakeholders to create value for customers and meaningful competitive differentiation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and internal stakeholders to support account strategy and execution. Initiate and facilitate internal networks, share key account information and actively seek feedback to help ensure excellence in account strategy and service delivery. Serve as a credible resource for other divisions.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, competitors and products. Gather insights from physicians, suppliers and other stakeholders to challenge, refine and prioritize key account strategies.
- Assess industry trends and their potential impact on sales activities. Partner closely with health economics colleagues to support access and funding strategies for Boston Scientific products, anticipate market and competitive developments, and identify opportunities to strengthen account strategies.
- Foster an environment of mutual trust, respect and collaboration by sharing relevant information and identifying new ways of working to strengthen team performance.
- Coach and support the development of other team members as opportunities arise.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in sales management within the medical device or health care industry.
- Strong business, relationship and organizational management skills.
- Demonstrated strategic and analytical thinking with a results-oriented and accountable approach.
- Demonstrated record of success or overachievement in previous sales positions.
- Ability to travel throughout Florida and across the U.S., as business needs require.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree.
- Previous corporate or strategic accounts IDN sales experience within the medical device or health care industry.
- Cardiovascular sales experience.
Work model, sponsorship, relocation:
This is a remote position. The ideal candidate will be based in Florida to effectively support assigned accounts and business needs. Travel throughout Florida and across the U.S. is required, as appropriate. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

The anticipated annualized base amount or range for this full time position will be $150,000, plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives) as well as the value of core and optional benefits offered at BSC, which can be reviewed at www.bscbenefitsconnect.com. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
