We are seeking a highly strategic and execution-oriented HR Business Partner to support our South Cone organization. This role will serve as the primary HR partner to the South Cone Regional Director, acting as a trusted advisor and playing a key role in enabling business growth through an integrated people strategy.
This is a highly visible regional leadership role responsible for defining, prioritizing and driving the South Cone HR agenda in alignment with regional and global business objectives. Working in close partnership with business leaders, HR Centers of Excellence and HR Operations, the HR Business Partner will orchestrate the execution of strategic people priorities, strengthen the HR operating model and deliver measurable business outcomes across the region.
Success in this role requires the ability to balance strategic thinking with operational excellence—translating business priorities into actionable HR initiatives, driving disciplined execution and creating sustainable organizational impact.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary strategic HR partner to the South Cone Regional Director and the regional leadership team, providing guidance on organizational effectiveness, leadership, talent and culture.
Define, prioritize and drive the South Cone HR agenda, ensuring alignment with regional and global business priorities.
Build trusted relationships with senior business leaders, influencing key people decisions that enable business growth and organizational effectiveness.
Translate business strategy into actionable HR initiatives, ensuring disciplined execution, clear accountability and measurable business impact.
Lead the execution of the South Cone HR agenda by orchestrating the contributions of HR Centers of Excellence, HR Operations and business leaders to deliver strategic priorities and business outcomes.
Identify opportunities to strengthen the effectiveness of the HR operating model, driving continuous improvement across HR processes, governance, collaboration and service delivery.
Lead workforce planning, organizational design, succession planning, talent reviews and leadership development across the region.
Drive organizational transformation and change management initiatives that support business strategy and long-term organizational effectiveness.
Leverage people analytics and business insights to identify trends, risks and opportunities, translating data into actionable recommendations.
Champion employee engagement, inclusion, performance management and leadership effectiveness initiatives.
Ensure compliance with Boston Scientific policies and local labor legislation across the South Cone countries while mitigating organizational risk.
Foster a high-performance culture aligned with Boston Scientific's values, promoting accountability, collaboration and innovation.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field.
Significant experience as an HR Business Partner supporting senior leaders within complex, multinational organizations.
Demonstrated experience partnering directly with executive leadership and influencing strategic business decisions.
Proven ability to translate strategic priorities into execution, delivering measurable business impact and sustainable organizational results.
Demonstrated ability to influence across a matrix organization, aligning HR Centers of Excellence, HR Operations and business leaders to execute complex initiatives.
Strong experience in organizational development, change management, talent management, leadership coaching and organizational effectiveness.
Strong analytical capability with the ability to leverage data to support business decisions.
Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken) is required.
Availability to travel monthly throughout the South Cone region. This role requires frequent in-person engagement with business leaders across multiple countries, making regional travel an essential component of the position.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting commercial organizations within healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industries.
Strong executive presence with exceptional communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with operational excellence in a fast-paced, matrix environment.
Strong bias for action, ownership and continuous improvement.
High degree of autonomy, resilience and adaptability in complex and evolving business environments.
Passion for developing leaders, building organizational capability and enabling business success through people.
