The Business Development Manager is responsible for the execution of sales and below-the-line marketing plans for B2B MiTAC products and solutions with major focus on fleet management (telematics/video telematics) solutions. Working collaboratively with the B2B team and other departments, the Business Development Manager is a critical position in ensuring that MiTAC’s business development and growth goals are achieved in Central Eastern Europe.

Responsibilities:

1. Sales Performance

• Develop partnering relationships with senior executives throughout the international organization, building high levels of professional credibility and mutual trust, and ensuring that internal clients have access to high-quality advice and guidance to support in delivering business strategy and plans.

• Identify and implement sales strategy for a significant area of responsibility, anticipating complex issues, challenges, and opportunities, and ensuring integration with wider corporate strategy.

• Communicate with the relevant functional team to meet the organization's mission; clarify the actions needed to implement it within the area of responsibility; motivate people to commit to these and to doing extraordinary things to achieve the business goals.

• Deploy monthly / quarterly product demand generators; develop and implement sales activities which increase market share, brand awareness and profile of MiTAC Europe in the designated region.

• Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets (revenue and GP) and jointly own the annual sales target for the region.

2. Customer Management & Development

• Develop distribution channel/direct accounts in the designated region and maintain high level of customer service from distribution channels, Solution providers, recommenders through to the end customer.

• Carry out thorough due diligence review prior to engaging, directly or indirectly, any future direct or indirect customers.

• Make your management aware of any obligation that the company is contractually committed to and to seek any and all relevant authorisations to do so.

• Establish and develop strong commercial relationships with operational leaders in key accounts.

• Training business partners

• Identifying market opportunities through connections, meetings, networking and other channels

3. Reporting

• Update and forecast sales and budgets on a rolling six-month basis at the end of each month; work with Central Eastern Europe Country Director/Manager B2B to assess achievements and impacts.

• Maintain monthly sales out figures by customer, product and channel.

• Provide a monthly management report containing – Sales by Client – Direct – Indirect – Key Accounts – Distributors – by product.

• Report monthly on competitor’s activity and provide analysis.

• Keep up-to-date status of individual projects.

• Update and maintain project pipelines on regular con-call.

4. Leadership and Compliance

• Understand the MiTAC Europe vision, value proposition, growth targets as context for planning and development of sales organization

• Continuously monitor the market for developments, competitive threats and opportunities that may exist

Essential Experience Required:

• Minimum 8 yrs experience, 5 years within fleet management solution (telematics and/or videotelematics) sales, managing partners and key accounts

• Demonstrated track record of exceeding/achieving sales targets

• Demonstrated experience of direct account development or channel partner management

• Strong knowledge of mobile computing

• Computer literate – including MS Office suite

• Oral and written ability in fluent Polish, English, another European language would be an adventage
