The team plays a critical role in shaping Meesho’s narrative across media, digital platforms, investors, analysts and broader stakeholders, anchored in transparency, governance, operational excellence and impact at scale.
We are looking for a communications professional who is equally comfortable telling inspiring stories of Bharat-led commerce and driving disciplined, accurate communication aligned with public-market standards.
About the role
The Communications team at Meesho is responsible for shaping and amplifying the company’s corporate narrative across national and international stakeholders. The role will have to work closely with leadership across business, technology, human resources, investor relations and legal teams to ensure consistent, compliant and high-impact communication that reflects Meesho’s scale, financial discipline, technology and commitment to marketplace integrity.
This role will support Meesho’s corporate communications through day-to-day management and creative execution of social media content, with a primary focus on LinkedIn and X. This role is ideal for someone who is deeply plugged into pop culture, internet trends and platform-native storytelling, and is excited to experiment with formats while operating within the standards of a publicly listed company.
The role will work closely with senior communications team members to translate corporate narratives, leadership perspectives and business moments into engaging, platform-appropriate content.

what will you do

  • Work with internal stakeholders across business, technology, finance, HR and logistics to develop credible stories aligned with Meesho’s mission and corporate priorities.
  • Analyze internal data and performance trends to generate differentiated narratives and support integrated PR campaigns with clear objectives.
  • Build and manage relationships with regional, national and global media across business, technology, e-commerce and investor-focused publications.
  • Develop high-quality content including press releases, briefing documents, messaging frameworks, leadership talking points and key corporate announcements.
  • Plan, create and execute content for Meesho’s official LinkedIn and X handles, translating corporate narratives and leadership perspectives into platform-native storytelling.
  • Track social media trends, pop culture moments and conversations, supporting real-time engagement during major announcements and events.
  • Monitor engagement and sentiment across social platforms, flagging opportunities and potential reputation risks to the communications team.
  • Collaborate with design, agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines, disclosure norms and governance standards.

What you will need

  • Graduation/Post Graduation degree in Communication, Media, Marketing or related fields.
  • 3-4 years of experience in PR.
  • Additional experience in social media, digital communications or content roles, including internships or agency experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong relationships with journalists and publications covering business, startups and e-commerce.
  • Ability to manage key stakeholders at the CXO levelOpenness to collaborate with teams across the organization to identify and create story opportunities.
  • Deep familiarity with LinkedIn and X, including platform trends, algorithms and content formats.
  • Strong written communication skills with an instinct for concise, culturally relevant copy.
  • High awareness of pop culture, internet trends, memes and social conversations, with good judgment on brand appropriateness.
  • Enthusiasm for participating in social conversations while maintaining professionalism and brand responsibility.
  • Comfort operating in fast-paced environments with high standards for confidentiality and compliance.
