About the Role
We are looking for a finance leader to anchor the controllership and cost integrity for Valmo, our in-house logistics and fulfillment platform. This is a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, cost visibility, and audit preparedness for a fast-scaling, operationally intensive business unit.
What you will do
- Own end-to-end financial integrity of Valmo, including monthly close, reconciliations, and audit.
- Review and validate fulfillment cost models with input from operations, product, and analytics.
- Ensure accurate provisioning for costs, returns, damages, incentives, and other linked costs.
- Act as a single point of accountability for cost reporting to internal finance and auditors.
- Drive automation of manual processes (e.g. payouts, validations, etc. ) in partnership with product/tech/ analytical teams.
- Build robust internal controls across shipping cost, warehouse expenses, and third-party logistics contracts.
- Ensure no missed liabilities, margin surprises, or audit flags through strong governance and review routines.
- Facilitate quarterly consistency and segmental transparency in reporting and analysis.
What you will need
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8–12 years of post-qualification experience.
- Proven experience in controllership, preferably in logistics, ecommerce, or operations-heavy environments.
- Strong understanding of IND-AS, audit closure, cost control, and internal controls.
- Experience driving automation in finance processes is a strong plus.
- Highly collaborative with ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
