About the Role
As Meesho’s Tech Branding Specialist, you will be at the forefront of positioning Meesho as a tech-first company and a hub of engineering excellence and innovation. Your work will directly influence how the world — and top tech talent — perceive our technology, culture, and leadership.
You will drive the end-to-end planning and execution of tech branding initiatives across multiple channels — from social media and the Meesho Tech blog to internal and external events and speaker engagements. You’ll also collaborate with engineers on their blogs, helping transform complex technical details into engaging, reader-friendly stories.
What you will do
- Strengthen Meesho’s tech employer brand by driving initiatives that position us as a hub for innovation and engineering excellence within the tech ecosystem.
- Partner with Tech, Product and Analytics leadership to ideate and identify compelling talking points, blog topics, and storytelling opportunities that showcase Meesho’s technological capabilities.
- Liaise across Tech and Product teams to ensure thorough documentation of Android and iOS releases, including the creation of both internal and external release notes.
- Craft and prepare content for speaker engagements and delivery of tech topics at both internal and external forums, tailoring messaging for diverse audiences — from non-technical readers to seasoned engineers.
- Work closely with PR and Comms teams to identify and share noteworthy technological developments for social, print, and digital media.
- Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of flagship internal tech events — including the annual Hackathon, BharatConf (internal tech conference), bi-monthly tech talk series, quarterly townhalls, and leadership connect sessions.
What you will need
- 3+ years of professional experience in branding, communications, or employer branding — ideally in a tech-focused environment.
- Outstanding writing skills with the ability to craft clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
- Comfort with generative AI tools to create visual assets such as blog covers, social creatives, and internal communication posters.
- Proven ability to own and manage end-to-end documentation processes, adapting tone, format, and detail to suit different needs.
- Quick to learn new tools — experience with platforms like Confluence, Jira, and GitHub is a plus, not a prerequisite.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with a track record of solving problems and driving initiatives to completion.
- A sharp eye for detail, excellent prioritisation skills, and the agility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines without compromising quality.
