Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure on AWS and Snowflake
- Own the architecture and optimisation of our data warehouse (Snowflake)
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes using tools like AWS Glue and dbt
- Design and build real time data pipelines (e.g. using Kafka, Tinybird etc.)
- Collaborate with analytics and product teams to provide clean, reliable datasets for reporting and analysis
- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards, including SOC 2 requirements
- Manage and enhance our BI tools (Tableau, Superset) to empower stakeholders with self-serve analytics
- Monitor and ensure data quality, integrity, and observability across systems
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and growth teams to support data needs.
Qualifications:
- 4–7 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data infrastructure role
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS stack (S3, Glue, Lambda, etc.)
- Proficient with Snowflake, including performance tuning and best practices
- Experience designing and managing data models and transformations using ETL/ELT frameworks
- Solid understanding of data governance, security, and access control mechanisms
- Skilled in SQL and Python for data manipulation and pipeline development
- Experience with BI tools like Tableau and Superset
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Mage etc.)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong sense of ownership
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially in a remote setting.
