About the Role

This role will be responsible for developing and managing the strategy for all of Lively’s card programs. You will manage the team members with responsibilities in day-to-day card operations, and proactively work with the Product, Sales, and Fraud teams. You will always be looking for opportunities to meet and exceed card user expectations and achieve efficiencies in card operations management.

Responsibilities

  • Be the expert for Lively on best practices associated with our payment card needs
  • Advise and educate leadership on prepaid debit card trends in the benefits space
  • Develop and manage a debit card strategy to help meet Lively’s Objectives & Key Results
  • Track, and report, and develop metrics for card development, operations, and costs
  • Partner with the Product team to manage projects completed with card vendors and to operationalize the card features launched by Lively
  • Partner with the Sales teams to determine features to set Lively’s offering apart
  • Partner with the Security and Legal & Compliance teams to mitigate risks and fraudulent activity
  • Coordinate all contracts, statements of work, and SLA reporting between card processing partners and Lively
  • Lead all evaluation, selection, and implementation of any applicable card-related partners, as needed
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency of our debit card operations
  • Serve as the card program point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
  • Actively manage card replacement and issuance
  • Manage the card operations and card programs team

Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in card-specific benefits and payments industry, with a deep knowledge of how prepaid debit cards operate in the benefits space
  • Comfortable working with and presenting to C-level leadership on high visibility, time constrained initiatives
  • You take ownership, are an inventive problem solver, and have a high level of accountability
  • Strong interpersonal skills, especially cross department
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and determination to tackle any task
  • Able to prioritize tasks in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Vendor selection and management
  • Nice to have: Experience working with FiServ and other card processor experience
  • Nice to have: Six Sigma training

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis with no sponsorship needed now, or in the future.

The base salary range listed for this position is inclusive of all U.S. States and Washington D.C. Actual pay will depend on the candidate’s location and experience.
$90,000$120,000 USD
