Description

We are looking for a Security Infrastructure Engineer with strong technical and problem-solving skills to join the team at LevelTen, reporting to the Director of InfrastructureEngineering. This individual will have both Software and Security Engineering experience with the goal of remediating attack vectors on our Cloud and Platform.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Engineering and Information security teams to coordinate and support penetration tests and security patches
  • Vulnerability analysis of internal and open source code
  • Remediate and patch open source dependencies
  • Reviewing pull requests and providing guidance on security best practices
  • Identify ways to improve security of our cloud environment and operations
  • Implement policy as code with our Infrastructure as Code toolchain
  • Implement Dynamic Application Security Tests
  • Cloud security configurations and operations, including monitoring, key management, security patches, and managing IAM policies
  • Develop security tools
  • On-call rotations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Demonstrated experience in programming, specifically Javascript and Python
  • Demonstrated experience in scripting languages, specifically Bash
  • Demonstrated experience working on Red and/or Blue teams simulating attacks and defense
  • Demonstrated experience securing a cloud environment (AWS/GCP)
  • Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP)
  • Proficient in Linux operating systems and Unix shells
  • Deep understanding of secure coding and defense methodologies, such as OWASP
  • Deep understanding of web services and web application development preferred

Additional details

  • This position is based out of our office in the Belltown neighborhood of Seattle, WA (hybrid work schedule).
  • The estimated compensation for this position is $140,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year, based on experience and qualifications. In addition, this position is eligible for an annual bonus and an equity grant.
