Kenangan Brands is a fast-growing F&B company with operations across Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, and India. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Facilities Estimator to support our expansion and renovation projects by delivering accurate cost estimations and budget proposals for new store developments and facility upgrades.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Holds a degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in cost estimation, quantity surveying, or facilities project management within the retail, F&B, or commercial fit-out sector.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, MEP systems, and cost structures specific to retail or food & beverage environments.
  • Proficient in reading technical drawings and using cost estimation tools or software (e.g., AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, or specialized estimating tools).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Able to communicate effectively across departments and with external vendors or contractors.
  • Willing to travel for site assessments and coordination with project stakeholders when required.

Job Role:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for fit-out, renovation, and construction of new store locations and facility upgrades, covering civil works, MEP, and equipment installation.
  • Analyze architectural and technical drawings, specifications, and scope of work to prepare itemized cost breakdowns and bills of quantity (BOQ).
  • Collaborate with design, procurement, and project teams to ensure cost estimates align with design intent, technical feasibility, and operational requirements.
  • Source, evaluate, and benchmark pricing data from vendors, contractors, and suppliers to maintain up-to-date cost references.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project conditions, verify measurements, and validate design assumptions as needed.
  • Review project proposals and assist in the preparation of budget submissions and capital expenditure justifications.
  • Provide support in tendering processes, including comparing vendor quotations, clarifying scope, and recommending optimal cost-effective solutions.
  • Monitor project costs and report deviations between budget estimates and actual expenditures, providing analysis and corrective suggestions.
