We are seeking a highly skilled and USA certified Medical Biller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing with a focus on neurology, speech-language pathology, psychiatry, and psychotherapy. This is a remote position requiring 8 hours of work per day, Monday-Friday, on New York (ET) timezone.

Key Responsibilities:

Create invoices based on filing codes assigned to medical procedures.
Submit claims to insurance companies electronically and via mail.
Send invoices to patients for remaining balances after insurance payouts.
Communicate with insurance company representatives to track payments and confirm patient coverage information.
Investigate denied claims and outstanding patient invoices to ensure the provider receives payment.
Manage patient payments and update information over the phone and in person.
Balance sent claims and payments received to record the provider's monthly and quarterly earnings accurately.

Requirements:

Must be a USA certified medical biller.
3+ years of billing experience.
Nice to have if you have Medicare billing experience.
