Your Role:
As an Apprentice - Finance at Innovaccer, you will be an integral part of our Finance team, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of finance operations. A Day in the Life
- Process and verify vendor invoices (3-way matching) and maintain payment schedules
- Perform bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and vendor statement reconciliation
- Assist in GST input credit reconciliation and TDS workings
- Support month-end closing, MIS reports, and audit documentation
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for invoice/payment query resolution
- Maintain trackers, records, and ensure adherence to internal controls
- Receive, verify, and log vendor invoices and match them to purchase orders
- Support processing of ACH, wire, and domestic payment runs under senior team guidance
- Track payment due dates and flag overdue items to the AP team lead
- Coordinate with the Procurement team to resolve PO mismatches and approval gaps
- Review employee expense claims for policy compliance and complete supporting documentation
- Liaise with employees to chase missing receipts, approvals, or cost-center codes
- Assist in closing monthly expense cycles across US, India, and UAE business travel
- Serve as first point of contact for vendor payment queries via the shared AP inbox
- Maintain accurate vendor master records including bank details and tax information
- Follow up on outstanding invoices and escalate aged items appropriately
- Support the preparation of weekly AP aging reports and payment schedules
- Assist in month-end close activities including AP ledger reconciliations
- Maintain organized digital filing of invoices, POs, and remittance advice
What You Need:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, or a related field.
- Must be available for apprenticeship tenure of a minimum of 1 year
- Experience up to 10 months at a CA firm.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable, basic accounting, GST & TDS basics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software is a plus.
- Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
