Area Vice President, Innovation (multiple openings)

Job Location:

InnovAccer, Inc. 101 Mission Street, Suite 1950, San Francisco, CA 94105 (allows for telecommuting and travel to unanticipated client sites throughout the U.S.)

Job Duties:

With a high level of independent decision-making capability and minimum supervision, the Area Vice President, Innovation will be responsible for developing and executing strategies across teams to establish new lines of businesses and bring new Innovaccer tools to existing and prospective customers. Duties include:

  • Go-To-Market (GTM)

-Define strategies to grow each line of business by evaluating industry trends, needs, market feedback and existing and future Innovaccer capabilities.

-Activating demand generation and marketing teams with strategic plans to approach and grow market share

-Ensuring Innovaccer presence and brand development by participating in conferences and events across the country

-Advising customers on how to grow their businesses with Innovaccer’s products, consultants and advisors.

- Enabling partnering teams to help identify and partner with industry leading companies, which are a right fit for Innovaccer’s tools and customers.

- Arming sales teams with the right tools, messaging to take these products to market

  • Preparing and delivering technical presentations explaining products or services to prospective customers. This includes:

-Engaging in demonstrations and white board talks and participate in the technical aspects of responses to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.

-Conveying an in-depth knowledge of the product, data structures, analytic functionality, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence capabilities of InnovAccer’s proprietary solution line to Customer’s Engineers who will require answers that demonstrate InnovAccer’s level of sophistication and cutting edge technology.

  • Talking to customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements, and providing recommendations for technical planning, improvements, and features, such as the sizing of hardware, use of High Availability software for parallel processing, impact of code upgrades on customizations, and the design of interfaces needed to move data between Databases. This includes gathering technical and business requirements and communicating them to InnovAccer’s engineering and business departments for the customization and implementation of InnovAccer’s product line.
  • Collaborating with sales and customer success teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support. This includes:

-Developing architecture for customers as necessary for enterprise software.

-Developing code schema and architecture for customers to facilitate the exchange of data from Proprietary Enterprise EMRs such as Epic and Cerner with AWS cloud solutions such as the RedShift EDW using Hadoop and Spark.

  • Securing and renewing orders and arranging delivery. This includes driving the development of new materials to support sales opportunities.
  • Assisting clients solve problems with installed equipment/product, including troubleshooting implementation of InnovAccer’s proprietary analytics solution line for customers and provide seamless integration solutions

This position requires travel to unanticipated client sites throughout the U.S and allows for telecommuting.

Education:

U.S. Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in IT, IS, CS, or closely related/equivalent.

Experience:

Seven (7) years of experience as a Business Dev Executive/President, Project Manager/Director, or closely related.

Skills:

Must have progressive professional experience with:

  1. Client acquisition and retention in the healthcare industry;
  2. Managing large-scale sales targets;
  3. Managing end-to-end sales cycles;
  4. Meeting high-level revenue targets;
  5. Identifying gaps in sales cycles;
  6. Evaluating client software and hardware systems to identify product gaps;
  7. Data structure analysis;
  8. Developing code schema and architecture;
  9. Translating business and technical requirements;
  10. Understanding current care management and the physician and patient engagement landscape;
  11. Marketing healthcare platforms; and
  12. Hadoop or Spark.
