You will be a vital contributor to the team that maintains ICI Academy for our partners, customers, employees, and enthusiasts. ICI Academy is creating a new digital learning curriculum for functional, technical, and sales enablement training. This training is available in self-study and delivered in micro modules gamified fashion to address segment-specific training needs and VILT.
The Learning Systems Technologist is responsible for managing day-to-day operations of the infrastructure applications, including the LMS, utilized by ICI Academy. This position provides hands-on technical and application support across a variety of areas: configure applications, and provide ongoing support and maintenance of applications. This position works with peers and senior Icertis Academy leadership within the organization to resolve issues and continuously improve organizational effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Build business critical reports/dashboards for senior executives that recommend improvements to content, learner experience, workflows, adoption, trends etc.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to user access and experience, system functionality, and software systems by working with internal IT and stakeholders
- Serves as point of contact for the escalation process for support issues, including interaction with the internal IT team, LMS vendor, Icertis customer support, etc.
- Create and manage user structures and permissions, the course and learning trail library, and assign learners.
- Manage the testing and adoption of new features available in the LMS & other learning applications by staying current on the technology & staying informed on the industry trends, experimenting, and engaging with the vendor community.
- Identify and communicate opportunities for process and quality improvements, and execute automation procedures for labor-intensive tasks pertaining to the learning applications.
- Take ownership of LMS re-design and support, as needed
- Write and maintain procedures and policy documentation.
- System support and maintenance : Provide support to our learners (external and internal) and the training coordinators ; Administrate, troubleshoot issues and track requests for LMS ; Communicate with vendors to address issues and trends ; Understand the tools and technologies specific to E-Learning development and delivery ; Maintain all training materials and learning assets hosted in the LMS.
- Establish and maintain relationships with IT/InfoSec and external vendor.
Skills and Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 8-10 years of experience working with any cloud LMS platforms using xAPI or SCORM eLearning standards with mobile delivery mode.
- 5+ years experience with learning technologies, including online classrooms, document storage, and video conferencing.
- Experience with SAP Litmos will be a strong plus.
- Agile development and some implementation experience would be good.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with a global employee base and with success in a remote work environment using video conferencing and online project management solutions.
- Self-motivated and accountable critical thinker.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Expertise with MS Office and knowledge of Camtasia, Articulate, Storyline, Captivate or similar content creation tools is preferred.
