About the Role

We’re very proud of our customer loyalty and our rapid growth. Concurrent with this growth is the need to scale our platform and improve our infrastructure in a fast-paced environment to improve our productivity and engineering excellence. We’re looking for a senior backend engineer to help build our platform.

Our ideal candidate should have strong technical skills as an engineer and architect; has a track record of building and supporting large-scale software on public cloud providers such as AWS and Azure; is value-driven and cares deeply about culture; is self-managed, curious, and resourceful.

What You'll Do

Architect and build highly-available distributed services.
Improve CI/CD infrastructure to empower the entire engineering organization to deliver quality code with higher efficiency and higher velocity.
Design, develop, and test new infrastructure and services that improve developer productivity.
Improve the infrastructure observability and resolve issues quickly.
Author high-quality technical documentation.

Your Background

8+ years of relevant professional software engineering experience, not including internships/co-ops.
Proficiency in at least one of the modern programming languages: Java, Python, Go.
Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and other CNCF technologies.
Proficiency with CI/CD technologies.
Extensive experience architecting SaaS software platforms at scale.
Extensive experience managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure such as load balancer, ingress controller, rating limiter, etc.
Proficiency in supporting large-scale distributed systems in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
An entrepreneurial spirit: you’re agile, creative, resourceful, and tenacious as you solve problems and achieve team and company goals.
B.S/M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.

Base salary range: $142,000 - $209,000. Employees are eligible to receive stock options and may also receive other forms of compensation.

The above represents total expected compensation for this role. Actual compensation will depend on various job-related factors, including, but not limited to, location, experience, and job qualifications.
