Field Marketing Manager
Harness
Marketing & Communications
Paris, France
Harness is the AI Software Delivery Platform company, led by technologist and entrepreneur Jyoti Bansal (founder of AppDynamics, acquired by Cisco for $3.7B). Harness has raised approximately $570M in funding and is valued at $5.5B, backed by leading investors including Goldman Sachs, Menlo Ventures, IVP, Unusual Ventures, Citi Ventures, and more. As AI accelerates code creation, the real bottleneck has shifted to everything after the code – testing, deployments, application security, reliability, compliance, and cost optimization. Harness brings AI and automation to this “outer loop,” helping teams ship software faster while maintaining security and governance throughout the entire software delivery lifecycle.
Powered by Harness AI and the Software Delivery Knowledge Graph, the Harness Platform applies deep context and intelligent automation across the software delivery lifecycle with governance and policy-driven controls embedded throughout the platform.
Over the past year, Harness powered over 185M deployments, 82M builds, 18T flag evaluations, 8M security scans, 9.1B optimized tests, 3T protected API calls, and helped manage $2.8B in cloud spend — enabling customers like United Airlines, Morningstar, and Choice Hotels to accelerate releases by up to 75%, reduce cloud costs by up to 60%, and achieve 10x DevOps efficiency.
With a global team across 26 offices and 27 countries, Harness is shaping the future of AI software delivery — and we’re looking for exceptional talent to help us move even faster.
Position Summary
Harness is seeking a strategic, execution-focused Field Marketing Manager to lead the planning, execution, and optimization of high-impact field marketing programs and events across EMEA. This role combines hands-on event execution with cross-functional collaboration and measurable pipeline impact, including ownership of trade shows, executive programs, roundtables, webinars, ABM initiatives, and integrated multi-touch campaigns aligned to regional sales priorities.
The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, builds strong partnerships with Sales and Marketing stakeholders, and continuously improves how programs are planned, executed, and measured. Acting as a trusted marketing partner to regional Sales leadership, this role balances strategic planning with operational excellence to drive pipeline growth, sales engagement, and regional brand impact.
Success in this role requires partnerships with Sales, SDRs, Product Marketing, Brand, Digital, Content, PR, and Field CTO teams to deliver cohesive, data-driven programs with measurable business outcomes.
About the Role
- Design and deliver memorable field experiences: Own the strategy and flawless execution of our regional events, from executive dinners to large industry trade shows, across virtual and in-person formats, managing logistics, vendors, budgets, and ROI in tight partnership with sales and other functions.
- Drive demand that converts: Localise and translate key assets and build regionally relevant campaigns (including events, webinars, email, digital, and partner events) aligned with sales goals, measured by the number of meetings booked, pipeline influenced, and revenue generated.
- Measure what matters: Define, track, and optimise key performance metrics (MQLs, meetings, pipeline activation, conversion). Use Salesforce CRM and reporting tools, such as Tableau, to gain insights that refine programs and demonstrate impact.
- Empower sales with assets and insights: Equip sales teams with regional narratives, decks, case studies, and tools that help them open doors and advance deals. Inspire the teams to integrate marketing initiatives into their outbound sales efforts, ensuring strong alignment and regular communication.
- Be the voice of EMEA: Develop local market insights on buyer needs, competitors, and trends to shape messaging, campaigns, and product feedback.
- Connect teams and drive execution: Work fluidly with cross-functional stakeholders (product marketing, PR, Field CTOs) to ensure campaigns, product launches, and field programs are aligned and impactful.
- Own budgets and measure ROI rigorously: Manage regional field spend with discipline, prioritising high-impact investments and transparently reporting on performance and learnings.
- Champion the brand locally: Partner with PR, communications, and ecosystem teams to increase visibility through media, influencers, sponsorships, partnerships, and speaking opportunities.
- Roll up your sleeves and get ship done! This role is highly operational, localising content, building event experiences from the ground up, traveling for field execution, and doing whatever it takes to deliver results, from personally shipping swag to traveling internationally on a regular basis.
About You
- B2B marketing experience: 5-8 years in B2B marketing experience in the SaaS/enterprise tech industry with demonstrable evidence of impact in prior roles.
- End-to-end field ownership: Evidence of delivering world-class in-person and virtual events with measurable outcomes.
- Startup and detail-oriented mindset: Proactive, organised, and comfortable owning complex execution in a fast-moving environment.
- Regional expertise: Past experience of localising global campaign materials and content for France.
- Data and ROI fluency: Strong analytical skills and experience inspecting marketing data to ensure leads are converting to pipeline.
- Excellent communication: Clear storyteller with strong written and verbal skills.
- Collaborative nature: Works seamlessly across teams to align and execute.
- Customer-first approach: Deep understanding of B2B buyer journeys.
- Project & budget management: Strong organisational skills and budget stewardship.
- Tool proficiency: Salesforce, Tableau, Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Sheets), Marketo (or equivalent).
- Presentation skills: Confident presenter who inspires internal stakeholders and sales teams to collaborate with marketing.
- Degree: Bachelor’s in marketing, business, or related field; relevant certifications a plus.
- Travel: Frequently expected to travel across the EMEA region and internationally for meetings and events as required.
