We are launching a high-growth initiative to serve the vast Home Service market (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, roofing, landscaping, etc.) where we have already achieved initial validation by closing 10 foundational deals. Now, we need the right operator to take this vertical from a small validated concept to preparing it for a full-blown scale.
The Role:
- We are looking for a high-velocity, high-conversion Founding Account Executive to capitalize on our early success in the Home Service vertical. You will be instrumental in scaling this new market, focusing on closing volume, maximizing conversion rates, and refining our GTM strategy based on real-world deal intelligence.
- This is a critical, quota-carrying role where you will focus solely on closing qualified opportunities provided by our BDR team.
- ACV Target: $3k - $5k (High-Volume SMB Deals)Focus: Closing a high volume of deals and establishing a scalable, efficient sales machine.
- Deal Cycle: Rapid, typically 1-2 calls close.
- Working Hours: US Shift (5 PM – 2:00 AM IST)
- Work Mode: Hydrid
What You’ll Do (Close & Optimize):
- Own the Full-Cycle Close: Execute the entire sales process from the qualified meeting handoff to deal signature within the Home Service space (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
- Achieve High Volume: Consistently close 15-20 deals per month at the $3k-$5k ACV, meeting or exceeding high-velocity monthly quotas.
- Master Pitch Modification: Rapidly modify and tailor the pitch, demo, and value proposition based on the specific persona (e.g., Owner, General Manager, Marketing Lead) and business size to maximize immediate close probability.
- Pattern Recognition & Intelligence: Actively track and identify patterns in the type of customers (firmographics, pain points, operating model) that convert most efficiently. Relay this critical deal intelligence and feedback back to the GTM Team to help them refine targeting and lead generation efforts.
- High-Conversion Sales Execution: Work within and refine our existing 1-2 call sales workflow. Focus on achieving and maintaining a 40%+ Demo-to-Close conversion rate.
- Refine Workflows: Rapidly iterate and build upon the existing sales workflows and talk tracks that secured our initial 10 customers, focusing on maximizing efficiency and scalability.
- Handoff for Success: Ensure a seamless transition of newly closed clients to the Onboarding Team.
What Success Looks Like:
- Month 1-2: Ramp on product, market, and existing Home Service workflows. Close your first 5-8 deals. Hit a Demo-to-Close rate of 30%+.
- Month 3+: Consistently hit/exceed the quota of 15-20 closed deals monthly. Maintain a 40%+ Demo-to-Close conversion rate.
- Ongoing: Your insights drive GTM team efficiency, resulting in a continuous increase in the conversion rate for the Home Service vertical.
You’re a Great Fit If You Have:
- High-Velocity Closing Chops (Essential): 2-4 years of closing experience in B2B SaaS or digital services, with a proven track record of hitting/exceeding quota in high-volume, rapid-close environments.
- Adaptability & High-Conversion Focus: You can rapidly adjust your selling style and messaging to diverse SMB personas to secure a quick "go-ahead."
- Analytical Sales Approach: You don't just close; you analyze why deals close. You are adept at identifying trends and translating them into actionable feedback for GTM strategy.
- Process Builder & Executor: You are comfortable working within an existing framework but driven to improve and optimize it for a higher conversion rate.
- BDR-to-AE Collaboration: Experience working effectively with BDR teams, understanding the quality of inbound leads, and providing necessary feedback.
- Consultative Selling: You naturally lead with deep discovery questions to understand value fit before pitching.Strong process discipline and CRM proficiency (Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).
Bonus Points For:
- Experience selling high-volume, lower ACV deals ($2k-$7k) to SMBs.
- Experience selling to local Home Service businesses (e.g., plumbers, roofers, landscapers).Track record in 1-2 call close environments.
- Background in digital marketing, or lead generation solutions.
