Role Overview
Join as a data analyst at a rapidly scaling AI startup, where you'll build critical data infrastructure and drive strategic decisions across all business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Transform chaos into clarity: Build on our data infrastructure - clean messy data from 10+ sources, create SOPs, and design repeatable automation patterns that scale.
- Be the truth-teller: Own end-to-end analytics for product, finance, growth, and operations - from raw SQL queries to executive dashboards.
- Accelerate velocity: Design self-serve analytics tools and documentation that empower every team to move faster with data.
- Automate everything: Build systems that turn manual reporting into automated intelligence - freeing the team to focus on strategy, not spreadsheets.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years in analytics, preferably at a high-growth startup or tech company.
- Strong understanding of relational databases.
- Advanced SQL skills - complex queries utilizing joins, CTEs, window functions.
- Data visualization expertise - transform numbers into compelling stories.
- Excel/Google Sheets power user with Python/R capabilities for advanced analysis.
- Experience leveraging AI tools and chatbots to accelerate analysis workflows.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ETL pipelines or data engineering fundamentals
- Experience migrating and managing large datasets
- Hands-on experience with BI tools (Metabase, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or equivalent)
